Prayer For Emptiness
O loving Lord,
I know you are there, yet still, I feel empty inside. Why is this happening? Can you see me Lord?
I come to your presence as I seek a renewal. May my emptiness be filled by your loving Spirit. Only you can nourish my soul.
Reveal to my mind and heart the deeper meaning, a more mature faith that I may walk with God no matter how I feel.
For the purest love, the love of Christ, asks for nothing in return.
The purest love only knows how to give.
Guide me, O Lord, into a new, spacious place where in loving and giving, as Jesus loves me, I am fulfilled.
I pray in Jesus name,

Jesus, I come to You today empty.
I don't feel I have anything to bring to You except my poor self.
And today, that doesn't feel as if it's enough.
I feel helpless and vulnerable, lost and desolate.
This sharp-edged emptiness reminds me
how dependent I truly am on You,
that I am not self-sufficient,
that I need to learn to trust You always more.
You experienced this emptiness while You were here on earth.
You let go of not just the fullness of divinity but even of the human respect You deserved,
in order to be with us, to teach us, to serve us, and to save us.
You emptied Yourself for me, so that I can offer my emptiness to You to be filled.
Divine Master, fill me with what I need most:
Your love and Your grace.
Hold me close to Your Merciful Heart
until the day that I am made whole in You,
immersed in the loving embrace of the Most Holy Trinity. Amen.
Father, Here is my friend's heart. You know the wounds, the feelings of sadness and despair. You know how numbness has come to quiet the pain.
Let this be the day of Your victory in the heart of this reader. Empower this one to lay the truth at your feet. Come, River of Life, to fill the empty spaces. You are Lord over the feelings of loneliness, abandonment, rejection, self-loathing, anxiety, depression, and any other mental or emotional stronghold. Jump start this heart with Your perfect and unending love. Let the wind of Your breath stir up life where deadness once lived.
Glory to You, Lord. You are able. It is Your mighty power at work within this one that brings healing and wholeness. You are the victory within and the very reason this one will be filled with Your victorious life.

When we place our trust in God, He promises us new life. You do not need to go through life alone! God can go with you. Jesus even promised you a Comforter, an Advocate who would stand with you through all of the rough moments of life, the Holy Spirit. Jesus said in John 14:15-18, ?If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever- the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.? (New International Version)
Our world will remain empty and broken because of the damage done by sin, but we can live as people healed from emptiness by the love and mercy of Jesus.

Dear Father,
I humbly come before you
With hollow heart and barren soul.
Wondering how life can be so full
And I can feel so empty.
I poured out all I had today
And left no reserves of my own.
But I'm exactly where You want me to be-
Empty of self.
And now I'm asking you to make me
Full of you.
I need you to flood the dry places
And fill the vacant spaces
So that I can overflow with your love
And give again.

Jehovah Jireh, the provider of all my needs, I request to be in Your Holy presence, for I am weary, weak and drained.
Uplift me, Lord, when I fall by the wayside. Fill my emptiness with Your strength and mighty power, that I will rise up once again.
I feel so empty, Heavenly Father. I feel as though there is a missing piece in the puzzle of my life. Fill me with that faith to move mountains.
Fill me with that hope that dissolves doubt and fill me with that unfailing, never-ending, undying love that never fails.
Job 35:13 Surely God will not listen to an empty cry. Nor will the Almighty regard it.
Heavenly Father, I praise Your Name in worship. I magnify You in all I do. Let Your glory fall upon me so my light will shine in Your honor. As I shout praises to Your merciful name, I take my rightful place at Your side. Thank You for the privilege of being in Your presence.
I want Your Presence Lord to consume me, Your consuming fire to burn deep within me, especially now as I am feeling empty.
