Prayer For Desperate Times
Oh loving Jesus, meek Lamb of God, I, a miserable sinner, salute and worship the most sacred wound of Thy shoulder, on which Thou did bear Thy heavy cross, which tore Thy flesh and lay Thy bones as to inflict an anguish greater than any other wound of Thy most blessed body.
I adore Thee, oh Jesus most sorrowful. I praise and glorify Thee, and give thanks fully to Thee for the most holy and sacred and painful wound. Beseeching Thee by that exceeding pain, and by the crushing burden of Thy heavy cross to be
merciful to me on towards heaven along the way of Thy cross. In Jesus' name (make request)

Heavenly Father, I am desperate, please hear my prayer. With man, this may be impossible, but with God all things are possible. Please make all my plans succeed, clear away these obstacles and make my path smooth. Thank You for answering all my prayers, and taking action to bring me victory with Your great power. I boast in the name of the Lord my God. Amen.
My God, my God, I feel abandoned by You! Why are You so far away? Do You hear my groans for help? And yet, You have been my God from the moment I was born. You are my strength come quickly to my aid! I trust You, and I know You won't let me down. When trouble is near, only You can save me. I will praise You because all who seek the Lord will rejoice with everlasting joy. Amen.
Mighty God, I come to You with a seemingly hopeless situation. I need help, fast! Point out to me the road to follow, for You are the God who saves me. I put my hope in You. Remember me in the light of Your compassion and unfailing love. Turn to me and have mercy, for I am in deep distress. My problems go from bad to worse; save me from them all. Thank You, blessed Savior. Amen.
My Good Shepherd, in this time of distress and despair, I ask that You walk close beside me through this dark valley. Protect and comfort me, renew my strength, and guide me along the right path. I will not be afraid when You are with me. I have all that I need, for You are my great provider. Your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life. Amen.
God of heaven's armies, rescue me from this perilous situation. Deflect these arrows that are aimed at me. Rise up in power. May Your strong right hand lift me to a place of security. I thank You for granting my request. Oh Most High, I know Your unfailing love will keep me from stumbling. Thank You for Your eternal blessings and the joy of Your presence. Amen.
Lord, I feel helpless in the face of my circumstances. In my time of trouble, hear my cry and keep me safe from all harm. Send help from heaven and strengthen me. I know You will rescue me and answer me, and I will raise a banner of victory in the name of my God. I will rise up and stand firm. I give thanks and praise to You, my God and my Redeemer, mighty to save. Amen.
Saint Jude, glorious apostle, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of difficult and desperate cases. Pray for me who am so miserable. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you to bring visible and speedy help where help was almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolation and help of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, particularly (here make your request) and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout all eternity.
I promise you, O blessed SAINT JUDE, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron and do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.
