Prayer For Dedication
Dear Jesus Christ, Hell Fire is too hot and I do not want to go there neither do I want it to become my permanent home! I want to go to heaven that has peaceful bliss where people never suffer pain or abuse. Hell has horror but heaven has peace! Therefore, I am determined to invest my future and destiny in you so that I can go to heaven. Today, I am determined to sign up for your life insurance program that will never fail: I confess you Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior, and I give you my complete life forever. Henceforth, I will serve you with all my heart, and I will share my salvation experience with other people. So help me God.
Amen.
Father, please let me adequately live my life for you. Help me to devote the early stage of my life into your faithful services. Enable me to utilize my time, energy, knowledge, finances, and other resources for your services. Let me wholly commit my life to you and your services, so that your kingdom can be populated. Please let my services be acceptable before you, and let me receive your overwhelming blessings throughout the days of my life. For in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.
Amen.
Father, I pray the Prayer of Dedication, Consecration, and
Submission. In every area of my life, I belong to You. Father, I'll
go where you want me to go, I'll do what you want me to do. Not
my will, but your will be done. Thank you, Father that you work in
me both to will and to do of your good pleasure. You have a good
plan for my life, a plan of peace and joy.
Father, what you want and what you desire is what I want; that is
what I desire. Not my will, but your will for my life every day,
Father. Not my own way, not the way of the flesh, but the way of
the Spirit. Father, your will, your plan, your way.
Father, I dedicate my life to you in every area. You have a plan for
me in every area of life. Thank you, Father, for the joy of
obedience. I will obey you with joy. Father, I want to have the
spirit of obedience in my life, not rebellion or pride, not resistance
or hard-heartedness, but a soft, sensitive heart that is willing to do
anything.
I rebuke rebellion and stubbornness in Jesus' Name. Father, I say
before your presence that I am willing to do anything you want me
to do. No matter what man says, no matter what the world says,
you have found a willing person. You have found an obedient
person.
Father, I will do what you say all the way, just the way you say it,
no more and no less, and with joy. Thank you, Father, for the
spirit of faith and the spirit of obedience. And Father, thank you
that your will will be fulfilled in my life to your glory. In Jesus'
Name, Amen.
Father in heaven, source of holiness and true purpose,
it is right that we praise and glorify your name.
For today we come before you, to dedicate to your lasting service
this house of prayer, this temple of worship,
this home in which we are nourished by your work and your sacraments.
Here is reflected the mystery of the Church.
The Church is fruitful, made holy by the blood of Christ:
a bride made radiant with His glory,
a virgin splendid in the wholeness of her faith,
a mother blessed through the power of the Spirit.
The Church is holy, your chosen vineyard:
its branches envelop the world,
its tendrils carried on the tree of the cross,
reach up to the kingdom of heaven.
The Church is favored, the dwelling place of God on earth:
a temple built of living stones,
founded on the apostles with Jesus Christ its corner stone.
The Church is exalted,
a cut set on a mountain:
a beacon to the whole world, bright with the glory of the Lamb,
and echoing the prayers of her saints.
Lord,
send your Spirit from heaven to make this Church an ever-holy place,
and this altar a ready table for the sacrifice of Christ.
Here may the waters of Baptism overwhelm the shame of sin;
here may your people die to sin and live again through grace as
your children.
Here may your children, gathered around your altar,
celebrate the memorial of the Paschal Lamb,
and be fed at the table of Christ's work and Christ's body.
Here may prayer, the Church's banquet,
resound through heaven and earth as a plea for the world's salvation.
Here may the poor find justice,
the victims of oppression, true freedom.
From here may the whole world
clothed in the dignity of the children of God,
enter with gladness your city of peace.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Your Son, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, One God, forever and ever.
AMEN
Father, I thank You and praise You for this day. I dedicate myself, afresh and anew, to You and to Your service. I commit to live and operate today according to Your Word and the principles and precepts that You have established in it.
I place myself in Your hands. I submit my will to Your will. In Your Word You have promised that You will give me wisdom in the affairs of life. I receive Your wisdom in every decision I make. Help me to consider both sides of every issue, to see all the facts involved in every situation and to think clearly and accurately.
When I encounter situations or become involved in circumstances beyond my knowledge or experience, I will yield to the Holy Spirit, Whom You have sent to reveal to me all things. I will ask Him to minister to me, to lead me, guide me and direct me in the truth concerning every matter that I have to deal with today.
I choose by an act of my will to be the very best employee that I can be this day, to give my employer 100 percent of my time, my effort and my loyalty.
Father, according to Your Word, everything that I set my hand to shall prosper. I thank You, Lord, that my work shall prosper today. Show me mistakes before they occur and reveal to me how to be more effective and efficient in my work. Help me to bring glory and honor to You in every action I take, every deed I perform and every word I speak.
Thank You that my mind is active and alert. I put out of my thoughts all my personal concerns, and I focus totally on the work before me, giving full attention to the duties and responsibilities that have been assigned me this day.
I thank You that my enthusiasm for my job will be evident to all concerned, and that the excellent way I perform my duties will be a witness to everyone who comes in contact with me.
I choose to be patient and kind to all those who work with me. Thank You that the faithful shall abound in blessings. No matter what the situation, regardless of the circumstances, I will respond in love and in truth. I will not seek my own way or try to promote myself, but I will be secure in the knowledge that if I am faithful and diligent to do my job to the best of my ability, then recognition and promotion will comefrom You.
I refuse to lift up myself, to try to force myself into a position of prominence so that others will notice me. I simply commit myself to do whatever I have been assigned to do with all my strength and might and heart and soul.
Thank You that my honest efforts and godly attitude will become obvious to my superiors so that pay increases and promotions will follow as a matter of course. Help me always to be on the lookout for ways to increase my contribution to the success of my department and the company as a whole. In this way, I will find favor with You and with others.
In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
Eternal God, many have prayed for this child, and You gave us the petition that we asked of You. You heard our prayers and brought this child into our lives. Therefore, we choose to dedicate this child to You today, because as long as this child lives, he/she will be dedicated to You. This child belongs not to us so please have Your divine way in his/her life, thank You, Lord, Amen.
Dear Lord, we thank You for this precious gift this beautiful child whom we dedicate to you today. Behold, children are a gift that comes from You, the fruit of the womb is indeed a reward! Lord, we pray that You protect this innocent gift that You have given us. We declare that the plans of the enemy to seek, kill and destroy this child shall not come to pass, in Jesus' name. This child is a blessing and will grow to be a blessing to those around them, Amen.
Father, we honor you here in this place. You rule the nations; your Son Jesus sits at your right hand until he has put every enemy under his feet, the last enemy being death. You are God, who made the world and everything in it. You are Lord of heaven and earth and do not live in temples made by man, nor are you served by human hands, as though you need anything, since you yourself give to all mankind life and breath and everything.
So Father, we come to you this morning, not to give you something you need, for you need nothing. But in view of your great mercy, we come to offer ourselves to you this morning as living sacrifices - individually, our families, and this church, and we do it here in this new building we meet in. Father may it be used to further your kingdom.
May this be a place where sinners find their Savior and the prodigal is welcomed by you, a generous and compassionate Father. May this be a place your saints, young and old, are encouraged in the gospel, equipped for service, sanctified in the truth, and joyously assured of the eternal redemption Jesus has earned for us. Where the wounded receive comfort for their souls, the weary are revived, the despairing are filled with hope, the depressed filled with joy, and the sick are healed. Where the thirsty find satisfaction and the hungry are filled up.
May this be a place where your word is honored and trembled at; where your people are perfecting holiness in the fear of you; where friendships are established and deepened and many sins are covered by love.
Where you Father seek and find worshipers who worship in spirit and truth. And Jesus, our Head receives honor and praise his cross boasted in, the power of his resurrection lived in, and his second coming hoped for. May the Spirit of God, the heavenly Dove, finds a friendly place to land and to dwell.
Father I pray for serious disciples to be made here blood-bought, Spirit-filled, word-saturated, sold-out, cross-bearing disciples who make an impact on the nations of the world.
Father, I pray that as we gather week after week, we would be filled up with your Spirit, equipped in all kinds of ways for all kinds of service and sent out to touch the world around us a world so desperately in need of good news!
All of this we pray in the name of Jesus and for your glory Father. Amen.
