Prayer For Critically Ill Friend
Healing God, give strength and courage to ________________ as she/he patiently
endures the suffering and pain of her/his illness.
Take from her/his heart all painful anxiety. Help her/him to place her/himself in the arms
of your loving providence, trusting in your compassionate, tender love.
Blessed Mary and all the saints, gather round us as we pray for our sister/brother. May we
reach out to her/him with compassion and support, bringing her/him comfort. Through
your intercession may we all look forward to being united with you in God's presence.
Amen.
Almighty Father, Name is sick and I'm of the belief that if I was in his/her position, he/she will be beside me and watching over. He/she has been part of Your faithful and we believe this is just a test of faith.
Like so, I pray that You watch over him/her and grant a speedy recovery. Not one more moment, Oh Lord, will he/she use further in this state, where he/she can't rejoice in Your name. I thank You for the answered prayer, and In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.
Father Lord,
As You are the One, and we, Your servants, we pray Oh God above to heal and support Name. Destroy any sickness that is, was, and will ever be in his/her body In Jesus Name. We pray that thereafter, You rejuvenate his/her mind, body, and soul, that he/she may be granted the strength to function in all areas of his/her life. Name shall stand before You Oh Lord, and he/she will pray and raise his or her voice in thanks to You.
We glorify Your mighty deeds Oh Lord, and In Jesus Name, Amen.
O Holy Spirit, please come like a dove
Shield and protect now the one that I love.
Cover their wounds with Your grace feathered wings,
Shield them from sorrow, breathe hope songs within.
Tend with Your goodness the pain that they bear
Heal now their sickness with miracle care.
Carry them high far above till they see
Your rainbow of promise, real hope lies ahead.
I love them so dearly, so help me to be
All that you, would give out through me.
Think, O' God, of our friend who is ill, whom we now commend to Your compassionate regard.
Comfort him/her upon his/her sickbed, and ease his/her suffering. We beg for deliverance, and submit
that no healing is too hard if it be Your will.
We therefore pray that You bless our friend with Your loving care, renew his/her strength,
and heal what ails him/her in Your loving name.
Almighty God,
you know that we are surrounded by many great dangers,
and because of our human frailty
we cannot withstand them.
Give us health of mind and body
so that we who suffer under sin
may overcome and win the victory in you;
through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and forever.

Almighty God,
you are the only source of health and healing.
In you there is calm,
and the only true peace in the universe.
Grant to each one of us your children
an awareness of your presence,
and give us perfect confidence in you.
In all pain and weariness and anxiety
teach us to yield ourselves to your never failing care,
knowing that your love and power surround us,
trusting in your wisdom and providence
to give us health and strength and peace
when your time is best;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Lord Jesus, thank you that you love [name of person who needs healing]. I know that you hate what their illness is doing to them/me. I ask, in the name of Jesus, that you would heal this disease, that you would have compassion and bring healing from all sickness.Your word says in Psalm 107:19-20 that when we call out to you the Eternal one you will give the order, heal and rescue us from certain death. In the Bible, I have read of miraculous healing and I believe that you still heal the same way today. I believe that there is no illness you cannot heal after all the bible tells of you raising people from the dead so I ask for your healing in this situation.
I also know from my experience of life on earth that not everyone is healed if that happens here than keep my heart soft towards you, help me to understand your plan and help me to be excited about heaven.
Lord Jesus, thank you that our hope for healing is in you. If there are doctors or treatments that you would want to use to heal this disease I pray that you would guide [name of person who needs healing] to them. I ask for wisdom and discernment about which treatments to pursue.
God, I thank you that [name of person who needs healing] belongs to you and that you are in control of everything that happens from our first breath to our last sigh.
