Prayer For Believers
Lord, may this new believer open his/her heart to those who are more mature in faith so that his love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that he may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christto the glory and praise of God
Father, I pray that this one who has just recently placed his/her faith in you will grow to spiritual maturity, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. May he speak the truth in love so that he will in all things grow up into Christ.
Lord Jesus, I want to know you personally. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life to you and ask you to come in as my Savior and Lord. Take control of my life. Thank you for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Make me the kind of person you want me to be.
I pray that _______ may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
I pray for _______, and ask that _______ may be filled with the knowledge of God's will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that _______ may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy. I give thanks to the Father who has qualified _______ to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered _______ from the power of darkness and conveyed _______ into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom _______ has redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant _______, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in _______'s heart through faith; that _______, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height -- to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that _______ may be filled with all the fullness of God.
I pray that the God of my Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to _______ the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of _______'s understanding being enlightened; that _______ may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.
I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus, that in every way you were enriched in him in all speech and all knowledgeeven as the testimony about Christ was confirmed among youso that you are not lacking in any gift as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will sustain you to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ
