Prayer For A Safe Journey
My holy angel guardian, ask the Lord to bless the journey which I undertake, that it may profit the health of my soul and body; that I may reach its end; and that, returning safe and sound, I may find all at home in good health. Do thou guard, guide, and preserve us. Amen.
In the name of God I go on this journey. May God the Father be with me, God the Son protect me, and God the Holy Ghost be by my side. Amen.
Lord, be our guide and our protector
on the journey we are about to take.
Watch over us.
Protect us from accidents.
Keep us free from harm to body and soul.
Lord, support us with Your grace when we are tired.
Help us be patient in any trouble which may come our way.
Keep us always mindful of Your presence and love.
Amen.
O Almighty and merciful God, who hast commissioned Thy angels to guide and protect us, command them to be our assiduous companions from our setting out until our return; to clothe us with their invisible protection; to keep from us all danger of collision, of fire, of explosion, of falls and bruises; and, finally, having preserved us from all evil, and especially from sin, to guide us to our heavenly home. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Dear Saint Anthony,
today I greet you as the special guardian
of those who must travel or go on a trip.
I appreciate your continued interest in my welfare and your unfailing help.
I am sure you will keep on aiding me.
You were constantly on the move from one country to another
- Sicily, Frnace, Spain - and in many other cities of Italy.
So you know the perils of being on the road.
You have seen the troubles along the way.
In the journeys my family and I make,
please guide and guard us.
Let us move with caution even while we rely on your assistance.
Our Lord, Jesus Christ, told us, "I am the way."
Pray to Him for us to keep us always on the right path.
Amen.
O Jesus the Truth, enlighten me to travel only and always in charity and with my gaze fixed on heaven, my ultimate destination.
O Jesus the Way, be my guide, so that I may have complete self-control, a sure eye, and constant moderation.
O Jesus the life, be for me everywhere, and for those whom I accompany or meet, joy of spirit and salvation of soul and body.
O my angel, kindly precede me and guard me.

May it be Your will, o Lord, our God and the God of our ancestors, that You lead us toward peace, guide our footsteps toward peace, and make us reach our desired destination for life, gladness, and peace. May You rescue us from the hand of every foe,
ambush along the way, and from all manner of punishments that assemble to come to earth. May You send blessing in our handiwork, and grant us grace, kindness, and mercy in Your eyes and in the eyes of all who see us. May
You hear the sound of our humble request because You are God Who hears prayer requests.
