Prayer For A Pregnant Mother
Father God, you're the one who gives life. I want to thank you for the precious gift that you have created in my womb. Lord, as I approach the final days of this journey, I ask you to grant me a safe delivery. Remove fear from my heart and fill me with your unconditional love. As the labor pains begin, send your angels to strengthen me so that I can remain strong throughout the delivery process. I thank you for giving me and my child a perfect life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
I bring the little baby that is forming within me to You Lord and pray that You would be with me every step of the way. I ask that Your guiding hand of protection would be over and around and within this little life and may he or she grow and develop without any problems or complication.
Prepare me, Lord, for motherhood. Prepare us BOTH for the change that is going to take place when our little baby is born and help us to keep very close to You and to give You all the praise and glory.
Thank You for hearing my prayers.
Grant me a motherly heart that is pure, steadfast and generous.
I hand over to you my own concerns;
any anxious fears that may come,
my own wishes for the little person
that I still have no knowledge of.
Grant that it may be born healthy in body,
keep far from it perils to the soul.
Dear God, You know the ongoing difficulties that I have had with my pregnancy - morning sickness and other ailments that seem to have shadowed this pregnancy from the moment that I conceived.
I know that there is pain and problems that are connected with the joy of having a baby, and I don't want it to appear that all I am doing complaining of feeling ill - when my heart is rejoicing that I am carrying this precious little life within me.
I ask that You would prevent me from having any more complications and illnesses as the time passes and give me the grace and strength I pray, to carry this baby to full term - with a spirit of joy and thanksgiving.
Your joy is indeed my strength and I claim this wonderful promise today - praying that You will support and strengthen me until that wonderful day when I hold my little baby in my arms. Thank You
Lord,
I thank You for this baby and I give my pregnancy to You, praying that throughout the whole time You will be there to comfort and encourage and strengthen each member of the family.
I pray that You would place Your hand of blessing on this little human being that is being formed in my womb... may he or she grow up to know You and may they become a mighty person of God.
Thank You for all my children, which have become such a blessing to me - into Your hand I commit myself, my husband, my family and this precious little addition to our home - for which I praise You
Give us, O Lord, a steadfast heart, which no unworthy affection may drag downwards. Give us an unconquered heart, which no tribulation can wear out. Give us an upright heart, which no unworthy purpose may tempt aside. Bestow upon us also, O Lord our God, understanding to know you, diligence to seek you, wisdom to find you, and a faithfulness that may finally embrace you through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Dear Lord, today I offer you myself. Come breathe your life into my working day. Cause me to awake, to embrace the moment, and to go in Your name. Today, thank you that I can run without fear, serve with kindness, and walk with You in this great adventure.
Dear loving Father, thank you for waking me up this morning, thank you for your love and care, thank you for everything you have freely given me in this life. As I set to go and perform the work you have blessed my hands to do, I thank you for protecting me from anything that may come my way. Thank you for your grace that will keep me through this day, and may I be a blessing to others. In Jesus' name, I pray and believe.
