Prayer For A Newborn Baby
Lord, my Rock and my Refuge, I know that You care for my newborn baby, so I pray that my infant will dwell in the shelter of You the Most High. My child will be protected by the shadow of the Almighty God. You are my child's refuge and fortress. You are God in whom my child should trust. I thank You for protecting my child with Your feathers and providing him/her with refuge under Your wings. Your faithfulness will be my baby's shield, even the angels are commanded to guard my baby in all ways! Thank You, Father. Amen.
Jehovah Rapha, my Healer, I pray for the health of my newborn baby. At such a young age my child is more vulnerable to sicknesses due to a weak immune system. But I pray Your word over my child. I pray that my child prospers and will be in good health, just as his/her soul prospers. I pray good health into my child's life, both physically and spiritually. Amen.
God of Enduring Faithfulness, I place our new baby before You right now and ask for a divine shield around his/her life. Let his/her life be free from the love of money. I do earnestly pray that our baby will be content with what he/she has, for You have said I will never leave you nor forsake you. Lord, You are faithful to Your people. I pray that our baby grows deeply rooted in an unshakable faith in You. Amen.
Precious Holy Spirit, I praise You, for You are worthy to be praised. I pray that You bless my newborn baby and keep him/her. Please make Your face shine upon him/her and show him/her that You are a gracious God. Thank You in advance for turning Your head towards my infant and giving him/her peace. Thank You in advance for Your divine protection over my child's life. Amen.
Lord of the Highest Heavens, I rejoice in You always for You have blessed me in so many ways, especially with giving me a child. I pray that Your word governs my child's life so that he/she may rejoice in You always, pray without ceasing, and in everything give thanks to You, for this is Your will for my child. I know that my child will grow up to be a mighty prayer warrior and a faithful servant to Your kingdom. Amen.
God of Unfailing Love, thank You for blessing me with my newborn baby. I do not take my child's life for granted, so I pray that my child cultivates a heart for You. I pray that my child will not be selfish, nor will my baby try to impress others, despite the pressures of society. I pray that my baby will be humble, thinking of others as better than himself/herself, not looking out for his/her own interests, but the interests of others. Amen.
Jesus, my Savior, I pray over the life of this newborn baby and I praise You for this precious gift that came from You. Jesus, I pray that my child grows in the grace and the knowledge of You, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Knowing You is the greatest gift one can experience in life. Let this infant's life be one that is set apart from the world. Let this infant's life be an example of Your glory here on earth. Amen.
Righteous God, I thank You for this newborn baby. I pray for great things in this infant's life because You know the plans that You have for this child, plans to prosper and not to harm this child. I thank You because I know that the plans that You have made are to give my child hope and a future. I pray that my child will do great things because it is part of Your will to do so. Amen.
