Prayer For A New Baby Girl
Mighty Warrior, I pray a prayer of power right now over my newborn baby's life. I pray that my child will not be afraid or discouraged because You will be with him/her wherever he/she goes. There is nowhere that he/she can escape from Your Holy Spirit. There is nowhere that he/she can flee from Your presence. If my child ascends into heaven, You are there. And if he/she makes his/her bed in hell, God forbid, You are there. Thank You for Your Spirit! Amen.
Almighty and Everlasting God, we place every new baby before You right now and we ask that You bless them in abundance. We pray that every new baby will believe in You, the Lord Jesus, so that he/she will be saved when he/she grows older. Just as I believe in You, we pray that every child does also because You are our eternal Savior. Keep every child wrapped in Your radiant light. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Prince of Peace, I glorify Your name because You have not given my new baby a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Despite what my baby sees around him/her, I pray that he/she will know that Your kingdom is within him/her, not around him/her. Your power operates within him/her. Indwell the Holy Spirit in him/her. Make him/her know that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world. Amen.
God of Unfailing Love, thank You for blessing me with my newborn baby. I do not take my child's life for granted, so I pray that my child cultivates a heart for You. I pray that my child will not be selfish, nor will my baby try to impress others, despite the pressures of society. I pray that my baby will be humble, thinking of others as better than himself/herself, not looking out for his/her own interests, but the interests of others. Amen.
O God, my Promise-Keeper, we praise Your name because You are our God. We praise Your name because You are the God of truth, and Your word tells us so. Your word is better than a diamond. It is better than a diamond set between emeralds. We pray that every newborn baby grows up having a strong desire for Your word. We pray that every child will have a hunger for You and will find Your word sweeter than honey. Amen.
Jesus, my Savior, I pray over the life of this newborn baby and I praise You for this precious gift that came from You. Jesus, I pray that my child grows in the grace and the knowledge of You, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Knowing You is the greatest gift one can experience in life. Let this infant's life be one that is set apart from the world. Let this infant's life be an example of Your glory here on earth. Amen.
Heavenly Father, I thank You for watching over my child! I know that You stand beside my newborn baby as a protective shield. The sun will not harm my child by day, nor will the moon at night. I thank You for the divine protection over my newborn child's life. I know that You can protect my child in ways that I can't. I know that You will walk with my child for the rest of their days and be their ultimate guide. Amen.
Righteous God, I thank You for this newborn baby. I pray for great things in this infant's life because You know the plans that You have for this child, plans to prosper and not to harm this child. I thank You because I know that the plans that You have made are to give my child hope and a future. I pray that my child will do great things because it is part of Your will to do so. Amen.
