Prayer For A Loved One Who Is Sick
Jesus, With just one touch from your Almighty creative hand, You have healed the sick and raised the dead. How amazing is your Lordship over all the earth, How powerful is your redeeming love. How great was your sacrifice to go before us and bring forgiveness and hope. By your stripes I ask for healing. Standing within your reign and rule I ask for restoration. May life and wellness grow in fullness until it overflows. Amen.
Father, Your love is as wide as the oceans As deep as the sea And as tall as the heavens. May your spirit rise like a mightly wave and come and restore those who are ill. You are the water of life, You are a fresh spring, You are healing rain To all those who are in need. Come Lord!

Grant to each one of us your children an awareness of your presence, and give us perfect confidence in you. In all pain and weariness and anxiety teach us to yield ourselves to your never-failing care, knowing that your love and power surround us, trusting in your wisdom and providence to give us health and strength and peace when your time is best; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

You have all authority and power to diminish tumour growths, to destroy cancer cells, to restore and heal each amazing part of our human bodies. Father, we call upon You now to come and heal this cancerous growth, to holt this invasion of the body in the name of the King of Kings and the Lord of Lord, our healer and redeemer Jesus Christ. Amen.
By the light and truth of Jesus I lift my loved one to you. By the hope of the Redeemer, I pray for your healing power to break through. By the peace and the grace of the Living One, I place them safely in your care. By the death and resurrection of the King of Kings May your restoration now flow through my prayers. By the greatest gift of love ever known, Help me care for them as you would do. By the hope and strength of the living God, I place my trust and faith in you.
Lord Jesus Christ, by your patience in suffering you hallowed earthly pain and gave us the example of obedience to your Father's will. Be near me in my time of weakness and pain; sustain me by your grace, that my strength and courage may not fail; heal me according to your will; and help me always to believe that what happens to me here is of little account if you hold me in eternal life, my Lord and my God. Amen.
O Lord, Only you know how hard life has been for me. Only you have seen each moment of my day and night. Only you feel my pain and understand my discomfort. Only you are beside me through my grief and sorrow. Only you have been within each moment to comfort me. O Lord, break through the loneliness of my suffering. You have encountered sorrow and laid a glorious path Of hope, healing and the promise of heaven in my heart. Amen.
