Prayer For A Healed Marriage
Lord, my relationship with my partner, needs change that only you can bring. No man can help us at this point. We need divine intervention. Change our hearts that we may be able to love each other all over. Reveal to us things that we need to change individually and as a couple. If there are things that we are hiding from each other, bring them to light, and help us to repent and make informed decisions. Lord, we know that we have to take responsibility for our lives and make the necessary changes. Help us to take the required steps so that we can work towards change. In Jesus' name, I believe and pray, Amen.
Everlasting Father, your word says that we should not conform to the pattern of this world, but the renewing of our minds should transform us. Lord, my spouse and I have sinned against you by letting our marriage to conform to the pattern of this world. Forgive us, Lord, and transform our marriage. Help us to see it as a ministry and not just an ordinary marriage. Lord, when problems arise, help us to handle them as a team and not competitors. Remind us that the real enemy is out there to destroy our marriage. In Jesus' name, I believe and pray, Amen.
Father, I lay my troubled marriage before you today. I ask you to please revive our relationship. Renew our love for one another and help us to work through our differences with respect. Lord, I declare and decree that any plans of the enemy to scatter this relationship will not prevail in the name of Jesus. Let our hearts burn with love, and may our thoughts align with your thoughts. Show us how to treat each other with respect and knit our hearts together with your love. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
Dear Lord, I ask you to fill my marriage with joy. We have been using anger and unforgiveness as a weapon to fight against each other. We forgot that you brought us together as one. Lord, let the joy of marriage that has been stolen from us by the enemy be restored sevenfold. In Jesus' name, I and pray, Amen.
Heavenly Father, you said that if we confess our sins, you will forgive us and purify us from unrighteousness. Lord forgive my partner and me, for we have sinned against you with our bad conduct towards each other and towards the institution of marriage. Help us to bear with one another and to forgive as you have forgiven us. Help us to walk in the spirit that we may not gratify the desires of our flesh but may glorify your holy name. May your word dwell richly in us that we may admonish one another with wisdom and worship you with gratitude in our hearts. In Jesus' name, I believe and pray, Amen.
Father, our marriage almost ended, but you came and helped us. Thank you for coming to our rescue, dear Lord. May your name be exalted in heaven and earth. God help us to learn from our mistakes. When we are facing challenges, remind us of how far you have brought us. Help us to put our past behind and to focus on the great plans you have for us as a couple. Teach us how to make our relationship better and give us beauty for ashes. In Jesus' name, I believe and pray, Amen.
Lord, I am having a rough time. My partner and I have agreed to work on our marriage, and I want to do that with all my heart, but I keep struggling on the inside because I'm afraid of being disappointed again. I am becoming anxious on the inside, and this is making me lose my patience. I keep getting agitated by everything because I don't know how to handle what is happening. Draw me back to the days when I was not hard on my spouse. Give me patience so that I can be kind and compassionate towards my partner. Drown my anxiety with your everlasting love and fill me with peace. In Jesus' name, I believe and pray, Amen.
Lord, I want our marriage to be healed. Let the healing begin with me. Have mercy on me, Lord, a spouse who has failed so often to demonstrate Your love.
I want to love my spouse the way You love me. Help me. I want to be a vessel of Your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control in _____'s life. Use me.
I want to love in such a way that ____ is inspired to praise You. Glorify Yourself in me, Lord. Amen.
