Prayer For A Friend's Sick Father
Dear God, I pray for the healing of my friend's father. He has been inspiration to people in the community and I could only wish him to be healed in the soonest possible time. Amen.
God, I thank you that [name of friend's sick dad who needs healing] belongs to you and that you are in control of everything that happens from our first breath to our last sigh.
Amen.
Lord Jesus, thank you that you love [name of friend's sick father who needs healing]. I know that you hate what his illness is doing to him. I ask, in the name of Jesus, that you would heal this disease, that you would have compassion and bring healing from all sickness.
Almighty Father,
Hold my friend's loving dad at this time of illness, watch over him when he can not sleep, speak your love to him when he is afraid, touch and heal his weak body. Lord, you are the fountain of life. I ask for your life giving water to pour down upon him. Build him up again, look after his emotions and may he know your loving arms are around him at this time. Thank you for your love, and for your promises to your children. Amen.
Almighty God,
You know that we are surrounded by many great dangers, and because of our human frailty we cannot withstand them. Give us health of mind and body so that we who suffer under sin may overcome and win the victory in you; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.

Almighty God,
You are the only source of health and healing. In you there is calm, and the only true peace in the universe. Grant to each one of us your children an awareness of your presence, and give us perfect confidence in you. In all pain and weariness and anxiety teach us to yield ourselves to your never-failing care, knowing that your love and power surround us, trusting in your wisdom and providence to give us health and strength and peace when your time is best; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Father God,
Many of us need healing. I need healing for past hurts, random physical pains that I allow to waylay my days and Spiritual healing for various reasons. I reach up to You to receive this healing so that I may be whole and that I may be able to then minister to others in a way that brings You fullness of glory. How wonderful to be able to worship You without stain or blemish and to be totally healed. Show others Your healing power so that they may also be healed and walk in wholeness.

Father,
Help me get my focus back on you. I know I need to stop dwelling on my hurts and frustrations. Help me be faithful in prayer and put my hope in you. May the Holy Spirit guide and comfort and strengthen me.
