Prayer For A Dear Friend
Dear Lord Jesus, I come to You with a heart broken and full of sadness, knowing that my dear friend has gradually been drawn back into the world and seems to have forgotten the commitment that they made to Christ some time ago, and all that He did at Calvary to save us from our sins.
Father, I neither know what to say or what to do to help, but we seem to be drifting further and further apart, almost to the point that there is a barrier erected between us. Oh Lord, my heart is so sad and I ask You in Your grace and mercy to help in this time of need. Look down on this dear friend and I pray that you would reach down and turn their hearts back to You.
Lord, I know that this must grieve Your heart so much more than mine and so, by Your grace, I pray that whatever it takes that You would draw them back to Yourself. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, who died that we both might live, bring back this straying sheep to Your fold and into Your arms of love. In Jesus' name,

Loving Father, I have a friend whose character is being attacked and falsities are being said about them. I am concerned for them, as this is a difficult and painful thing to face, but I am also concerned that the worry of all that is going on in their life will be detrimental to their health.
I pray that You will give my friend Your peace that surpasses comprehension, and that in Your time and Your way You will diffuse this unpleasant attack. I ask this in Jesus' name,

May each dawn celebrate newness of life for you. May each day bring forth goodness for you. May your life spring forth with abundant joy. May you not know lack. May you never want for any good thing your heart desires. May the Lord bless you richly, always. Stay blessed my friend.
My prayer for you my friend: Instead of rejection, you will be celebrated. Instead of failure, you will succeed. Instead of sorrow, your joy will overflow. Instead of shame, you will clothed with honour. The Lord Himself will elevate you. All these I ask in Jesus' name.
Everyone waiting for your downfall shall wait in vain. Ahead, ahead, you will go in life. The Lord will frustrate every of the enemy's agenda for you. The Lord will uphold you and lift you high. I pray this for you, friend in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
As the Lord remembered Hannah and opened her womb, the Lord will remember you, my friend for good. He will cause His face to shine upon you. He will quickly arise for your help and all your past pains will be forgotten in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

As you go out today, the Lord will be with you. He will surround you like the mountains surround Jerusalem. Your feet will not stumble. You will not waver. Your hand will be strong against your enemies. You will succeed greatly and everyone who sees you will call you blessed. All these and more I pray for you dear friend. Amen.
Almighty and eternal God, have mercy on your servants, our friends. Keep them continually under your protection, and direct them according to your gracious favor in the way of eternal salvation. May they desire whatever pleases you, and with all their strength strive to do it. As they trust in your mercy, O Lord, graciously assist them with your heavenly help, that they may always diligently serve you, and be separated from you by no temptations; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Dear God, I have a friend who's now in pain. This is a difficult time for his/her life, so I ask You to be with him/her. Show him/her Your mercy and send forth Your healing hands to him/her.
I know, Lord, that no disease is ever too much for You to heal. You shall allow no affliction, whether physical, mental, or emotional, to stay with us forever. I trust in You, God, and Your mighty power to restore my friend's body and mind back to normal.
Thank You also for blessing my friend with skilled doctors to help him/her on his road to recovery. Thank You for giving them intelligent minds and compassionate hearts to serve my friend during his/her time of illness. Continue to anoint them with Your wisdom, God, that they may provide correct diagnoses and prescribe the right medicine.
We continue to trust in Your timing, Father God. Continue to work Your restoration through his/her body. Renew his/her strength soon that he/she may continue to serve You and share Your love with the people around him/her. All these we ask in Your Name, Amen.
Lord Jesus, thank you that you love [name of person who needs healing]. I know that you hate what their illness is doing to them/me. I ask, in the name of Jesus, that you would heal this disease, that you would have compassion and bring healing from all sickness.
Your word says in Psalm 107:19-20 that when we call out to you the Eternal one you will give the order, heal and rescue us from certain death. In the Bible, I have read of miraculous healing and I believe that you still heal the same way today. I believe that there is no illness you cannot heal after all the bible tells of you raising people from the dead so I ask for your healing in this situation.
I also know from my experience of life on earth that not everyone is healed if that happens here than keep my heart soft towards you, help me to understand your plan and help me to be excited about heaven.
Lord Jesus, thank you that our hope for healing is in you. If there are doctors or treatments that you would want to use to heal this disease I pray that you would guide [name of person who needs healing] to them. I ask for wisdom and discernment about which treatments to pursue.
God, I thank you that [name of person who needs healing] belongs to you and that you are in control of everything that happens from our first breath to our last sigh. Amen.
Dear Lord,
I pray for my friend right now. I pray that you will help them with the struggles they are going through in this season. For you know exactly what they need in this moment. Draw near to them and let them feel your presence. Open their eyes, ears, and hearts to you. Help them have the discernment to hear your voice as you lead them in their next steps. Speak to them as they read your word and bring verses of encouragement and comfort to their attention. I pray that you will calm any fear or anxiety they may be feeling. Replace it with the confidence to obey your word and to trust you. I pray that your guidance will be clear to them from this day forward. In your name, I pray. Amen.
