The Act of Hope in Latin

The Act of Hope is a Catholic prayer that expresses the hope of Christian believers that, by relying on God's grace, they will endure in this life and make it to heaven at the end. In spite of our sins, we hope in God, with whom all things are possible. This is the Latin version of this classic prayer.

 

Actus Spei

Domine Deus,

Spero per gratiam tuam remissionem omnium peccatorum,

Et post hanc vitam æternam felicitatem me esse consecuturum:

Quia tu promisisti, qui es infinite potens, fidelis, benignus, et misericors.

In hac spe vivere et mori statuo.

Amen.
