Prayer For A Business Meeting
Father in Heaven,
bless us as we gather today for this meeting.
Guide our minds and hearts
so that we will work for the good of our community,
and help all Your people.
teach us to be generous in our outlook,
courageous in face of difficulty,
and wise in our decisions.
Father,
we praise You,
for You are God for ever and ever.
Amen.
Heavenly Father, we come to you today asking for your guidance, wisdom, and support as we begin this meeting. Help us to engage in meaningful discussion; allow us to grow closer as a group and nurture the bonds of community. Fill us with your grace, Lord God, as we make decisions that might affect the students, staff, faculty, alumni and friends of Saint Louis University. And continue to remind us that all that we do here today, all that we accomplish, is for the pursuit of truth for the greater glory of You, and for the service of humanity. We ask these things in your name, Amen.
Lord, you have entrusted us as stewards of your creation Please guide our hearts as we make our decisions We seek you first in all we do together We give you our business, our suppliers, our customers and our workforce May we be always mindful of their service We confess that we are nothing without you And our trust is in you completely Amen.
Lord, before I go into this meeting, I still myself before you. For you are filled with beauty and light, and care deeply about me. Help me to listen, before speaking. Help me to fully understand these people, before making my case. Help me to value and appreciate the ones I am about to meet, before thinking of my own concerns and anxieties. May your light enfold me. May your spirit guide me. May your grace abound in me. This is my prayer. Amen.
Lord, we are meeting today to conduct matters
of business. Guide our hearts and our minds in the
spirit of fairness, right thought and speech. Impart your
supreme wisdom upon our activities so that our affairs
may reach a successful conclusion. Thank you for being
our source of guidance today. Amen!
Father,
Thank You for every seat that has been filled here, today. For each mind and heart that fills the presence of this room, we thank You. Only You truly know what we are setting out to accomplish today. We have an idea,
a vision, hints, and daily instructions. We have talents, abilities, and time to work. However, only You can see in perfect detail the end of every beginning. Every project, every season, every life. Nothing is ever in
vain, for even mistakes and missteps are used for good.
Your righteousness transcends all our efforts and understanding. Forgive us for our pride. The pride that puffs us up and the pride that threatens to unqualify us. Strengthen our confidence in who You have made us to be. Set us free from comparison in order to work together efficiently.
Bless this meeting today, all those present, as well as the lives of those we will encounter afterward. Ready us to make every moment count.

Loving heavenly Father,
We come to you this hour asking for your blessing and help as we are gathered together.
We pray for guidance in the matters at hand and ask that you would clearly show us how to
conduct our work with a spirit of joy and enthusiasm.
Give us the desire to find ways to excel in our work. Help us to work together and encourage
each other to excellence.
We ask that we would challenge each other to reach higher and farther to be the best we can be.
We ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Dear God, thank you for enabling us to gather here for this meeting. May we have meaningful discussions that will help us to build each other up and glorify your name. Help us to share things that will benefit all of us and draw people to the Kingdom. Help us to deal with different challenges that we are facing a team.
