Scripture Reading

Matthew 5:13-14

"You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet. You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden."
Reflection
Jesus does not say we should become salt or aim to be light — he says we are these things already by virtue of our union with him. The calling is to live out what we already are, allowing his life in us to flavour and illuminate every corner of our ordinary days. Small acts of faithfulness carry an outsized influence when they are seasoned with grace.
Prayer for Today
Almighty God We give you our school. We give you all the teachers and staff who work here, We give you all the children who study here. We pray our school would be place of great discovery, adventure and creativity. May it be a place where we love to
learn and where we learn to love, A place where every one is respected and all are deeply valued. We ask all this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Amen.
