Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Reflection
Notice that Paul calls these fruit, not fruits — one cluster, not nine separate achievements. The Spirit produces a unified life, not a checklist. We do not strive for love on Monday and joy on Tuesday; we remain in the vine, and the fruit grows. In ordinary time, when there is no dramatic season to carry us, the question is simply: are we abiding?
Prayer for Today
Dear god, pray that my boyfriend comes back to me. He is a good person but carries the weight of the world on his shoulders. Let him know that I am here to help him and support him. I want to add to his life not take anything away. He is my best friend.
