Confident Approach

Scripture Reading

Hebrews 4:16

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Reflection
The invitation is to come with confidence — not arrogance, but the settled trust of one who knows they are welcome. We do not approach God as strangers hoping to be tolerated; we come as children approaching a Father who has specifically prepared mercy and grace for exactly this moment of need. Draw near. You are expected.
Prayer for Today
Lord God, comfort and strengthen the family and friends of those who died from 9 11. Give healing and patience to the survivors of the attacks who are living with continued physical or psychological pain. May those who survived feel gratitude, not guilt.
Assure each person whose life changed forever of your protection and strength. Dispel the nightmares; silence the anxiety. May we learn to depend on the security you offer. Amen.

Amen.
