He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
Reflection
The same God who "counts the number of the stars and calls them all by name" (Psalm 147:4) is also the one who tends to broken hearts. Cosmic power and tender care are not opposites in God — they are the same thing. The God large enough to manage the universe is also close enough to bandage your grief.
Prayer for Today
Lord God,
I surrender myself to you today and ask that the Holy Spirit would equip me and renew my spirit to perform my job to the best of my ability.
Lord, please help me to be focused today, use my hands, my voice, and my service to glorify you through my job today and always. I pray these things in Christ's most holy name Amen.
