Deuteronomy 31:8
It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.
Reflection
Moses spoke these words to Joshua on the eve of an enormous unknown. The Jordan had not parted yet. Jericho had not fallen yet. The promise came before the evidence arrived. Whatever unknown you are facing — a transition, a diagnosis, a decision — this is still the word: God goes before you, and he does not leave.
Prayer for Today
Dear Lord, help me to remain humble in all that I do. Give me the courage to face my fears, to stand up for myself, to fight for what I believe in, to bless others and to minister your Word.
Let the fire that burns within mes touch the lives of others and manifest your love and grace to all.
