Reflection
The law of Christ — the new commandment to love as he loved — is fulfilled in the practical, inconvenient act of bearing someone else's weight. This is not abstract spiritual love but the kind that involves showing up, listening long, carrying a load that is not yours. True community is not a gathering of people who have it all together but a fellowship of burden-bearers. Who around you is carrying something too heavy? How might you come alongside them today?
