Scripture Reading

Psalm 61:1-3

Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe.
Reflection
There are seasons when our own strength runs dry and we call out from what feels like the very edges of the earth. But the psalm-writer knows that such extremity is not abandonment — it is simply the moment when we discover the Rock is higher than ourselves. Our weakness is the very door through which God enters as our refuge. Cry out to Him today without shame.
Prayer for Today
Father, we pray before You seeking protection for our baby. You gave us this little one for a reason, so we know You have a plan for him/her. Oh Lord, we pray for our baby's protection and proper parenting to teach him/her lessons that apply for a lifetime. Thank You for listening to our prayers, God, and In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Amen.
