Scripture Reading

Micah 6:8

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
Reflection
Micah distills the entire law into three intertwined demands: justice, mercy, and humility. These are not separate achievements but a single posture before God and neighbor. We cannot truly act justly without being merciful, nor be genuinely merciful without humility about our own need for grace. This is the shape of the whole life, summarized in one breath. Let it orient your choices today.
Prayer for Today
Almighty God, we give thanks for your unconditional love. As Jesus called the disciples into community, so too are we called to be in communion with one another. As we go about our work of healing in your name, guide us in forgiving and celebrating one
another. We acknowledge that we are part of the whole body of Christ, and all our gifts are essential to building your kingdom on earth. Be with us as we strive to be a more perfect community. Amen.

Amen.
