Prayer For Unexpected Pregnancy
Dear Jesus, I am taking a step of faith right now. I believe
You are God and that You love me. I believe You died to
take the punishment for my sins. I am sorry for my sins
and need Your help right now. Please help me. Show me
the way I am to go and give me faith and hope to go on.
I know the plans that I have for you, declares the
LORD. They are plans for peace and not disaster,
plans to give you a future filled with hope. Then
you will call to me. You will come and pray to me,
and I will hear you. When you look for me, you will
find me. When you wholeheartedly seek me, I will
let you find me, declares the LORD. I will bring
you back from captivity. I will gather you from all
the nations and places where I've scattered you,
declares the LORD. I will bring you back from the
place where you are being held captive.
Dear Lord Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of God. I believe that You died for my sins and rose from the grave. I invite You into my heart and receive You right now. Thank You for forgiveness. Thank You for a new life. Help me to be what You want me to be and live your life through me. Amen.
God, you see my baby in my womb. You know her every detail, every muscle, every bone, every bit of her beautiful body, mind, heart, and soul. No matter how she is formed, she is beautiful and she is beloved by you. Grant me peace throughout this pregnancy, that I would surrender every worry or fear to you. May I take heart, knowing you have overcome the world and made a way for us to be near to you in heaven someday and on earth here now. No matter what comes, be near, Jesus. Bring comfort and peace, bring blessed assurance. In your name, Amen.
Dear Lord and Father, I have discovered that I am pregnant after many years of waiting and trying and hoping to conceive. It was such a wonderful surprise to realise that we were going to have a little baby of our own, after having been told there was no hope that I would become pregnant. Oh Lord, what a wonderful gift from You. Thank You for hearing our prayers, and for fulfilling my longing to be a mother. How I praise and thank You Lord, for Your goodness and kindness to me.
I bring the little baby that is forming within me to You Lord, and pray that You would be with me every step of the way. I ask that Your guiding hand of protection would be over and around and within this little life and may he or she grow and develop without any problems or complication, I pray.
Prepare me Lord for motherhood, prepare us both for the change that is going to take place when our little baby is born, and help us to keep very close to You and to give You all the praise and glory.
Thank You, Father, for hearing my prayers.
Amen.
O Lord, you have searched me and known me.
You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from far away.
You search out my path and my lying down,
and are acquainted with all my ways.
Even before a word is on my tongue,
O Lord, you know it completely.
You hem me in, behind and before,
and lay your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
it is so high that I cannot attain it.
Where can I go from your spirit?
Or where can I flee from your presence?
If I ascend to heaven, you are there;
if I make my bed in Sheol, you are there.
If I take the winds of the morning and settle at the farthest limits of the sea,
even there your hand shall lead me,
and your right hand shall hold me fast.
If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me, and the light around me become night,'
even the darkness is not dark to you;
the night is as bright as the day,
for darkness is as light to you.
For it was you who formed my inward parts;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works; that I know very well.
My frame was not hidden from you,
when I was being made in secret,
intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes beheld my unformed substance.
In your book were written
all the days that were formed for me,
when none of them as yet existed.
How weighty to me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
I try to count them they are more than the sand;
I come to the end I am still with you.
Merciful God,
Allow women and men who face an unplanned pregnancy to turn to You. Let them experience Your presence in prayer and receive Your overwhelming love and grace.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
Heavenly Father,
I honor You. My heart lifts up Your name, God, and I worship You as Lord of all.
I praise You for Your joy. When I think of You, I am glad. My situation is difficult right now, but You promise joy if I simply come to You. I do that now.
I praise You as Savior. You offer redemption even in the midst of heartache and hardship.
I praise You for Your individual care. You are mindful of my current circumstances. Yet you still love me and my child. You care for us.
I thank you for my future. You say I will be blessed. Right now in my confusion it is difficult to see how good can come from my situation. Yet I take You at Your word and trust You.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
