Prayer For Travellers
Dear God,
Please protect us on the journey we are about to take.
Support us with Your strength and grace when we are weary.
Help us to be mindful of Your presence and love in times of stress
and guide us to make our time together meaningful and memorable.
Amen.
All-powerful and ever-living God,
when Abraham left his own land
and departed from his own people,
you kept him safe all through his journey.
Protect us, who also are your servants:
walk by our side to help us;
be our companion and our strength
[as we travel] on the road
and our refuge in every adversity.
Lead us, O Lord,
so that we will reach our destination in safety
and happily return to our homes.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. R.

Dear Lord,
I pray for our upcoming trip with the kids. I ask that you will guard their bodies so that no sickness will occur while we are gone. I pray that they will be in good spirits and will cause very little distraction on
the way to our destination. Help me to discern when they need a break or some rest during this trip yet help us have a wonderful time. In your name, I pray. Amen.
Heavenly Father,
Please bless our vacation.
Help our family to have patience and understanding.
Guide us to be mindful of this gift of time together.
Help us to make compromises when necessary and handle any chaos that comes our way with Your love and grace.
Open our eyes to truly see the beauty of the memories we are creating that will last a lifetime.

Dear Lord,
Please keep my family in Your watchful care while we are away from home.
Keep us safely protected in Your sheltering arms.
In Jesus' name. Amen.
Lord, be our guide and our protector
on the journey we are about to take.

Protect us from accidents.
Keep us free from harm to body and soul.
Lord, support us with Your grace when we are tired.
Help us be patient in any trouble which may come our way.

O Almighty and merciful God, who has commissioned your angels to guide and protect us, may they be our companions from our setting out until our return. Clothe us with their invisible protection; keep from us all danger of collision, of fire, of explosion, of falling; and finally,having preserved us from all evil, and especially from sin, guide us to our heavenly home. O God, our heavenly Father, whose glory fills the whole creation, and whose presence we find wherever we go: preserve those who travel; surround them with your loving care; protect them from every danger; and bring them in safety to their journey's end; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
