Prayer For Tired Teachers
Heavenly Father, thank you that you hear and answer my prayers. Your word instructs us to start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. In my role as a teacher, please help me to work hard for the good of my students, treating each of them with care, love and respect. Lord, bless me and keep me, make your face shine upon me. Turn your face towards me and give me peace. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Help me to be a fine teacher, to keep peace in the classroom, peace between my students and myself, to be kind and gentle to each and every one of my students. Help me to be merciful to my students, to balance mercy and discipline in the right measure
for each student, to give genuine praise as much as possible, to give constructive criticism in a manner that is palatable to my students. Help me to remain conscientious enough to keep my lessons always interesting, to
recognize what motivates each of my students, to accept my students' limitations and not hold it against them. Help me not to judge my students too harshly, to be fair to all, to be a good role model, but most of all Lord
help me to show your love to all of my students.
Amen.
Dear Lord, Thank you that you promise us That when two or more come together in Your name You are with us. Thank you Lord that you have been with us throughout this lesson And that you are with us right now. Inspire us as we leave this place To love and serve You always. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
O Eternal God, bless all schools, colleges, and universities [and especially ___________], that they may be lively centers for sound learning, new discovery, and the pursuit of wisdom; and grant that those who teach and those who learn may find you to be the source of all truth; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Dear God,
Grant our teachers an abundance of Your wisdom. Prepare their hearts to welcome and love our loved ones, and may we make sure to show them love and respect in return. Give them grace as they help students who aren't
thriving, courage to say what needs to be said, tools and knowledge on how and when to speak love, and strength when they feel weak. When they feel unseen, remind them that no moment goes unnoticed. They are shaping the
future in one million small - yet incredibly important - ways every day. We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the gift of learning they share with our children. Bless them, Lord, and may they see even just a glimpse of
how their faithfulness will forever impact generations to come.
Amen.
Father, please fill me with your understanding as I instruct others, Help me to see the individual potential of every student I teach. Father, please fill me with your patience as I teach others, Help me to keep giving of my time and energy, especially to those who struggle the most. Father, please give me your divine wisdom as I am with my class, Show me when I must discipline and when I can show mercy. Father, help me to depend totally on You, For You are the source of my strength, courage and peace. Father, above all, may I love and care for each student I teach. Show me how to serve as Christ serves Give as Christ gives Love as Christ loves. I ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, My Saviour and friend. Amen.
Almighty God, We come to you today and give thanks for all our teachers. Thank you for the way in which they give of themselves each day in the classroom, Serving and instructing the next generation of this land. We thank you for them all now. Father, please fill their hearts with courage now by your mighty Spirit. Fill them with your strength, so they may rise to every challenge and not grow weary. Fill them with your wisdom, so that they may be able to make good judgement when guiding and helping others. Fill them with your peace, so that when stress and anxiety comes it would not overwhelm them. Fill them with your joy, so that the passion they have for their subject may become a infectious passion that spreads. We ask all this in the wonderful name of Jesus. Amen.
Father God, in the name of Jesus, I come to you this morning thanking and praising you for each new day and moment that we have to live and abide in you. Thank you for your hand of grace and mercy upon each teacher who is responsible to minister truth- whether it be natural information or spiritual information.
Thank you for your grace to walk in each new day. We acknowledge your favor upon our lives and we give you praise. We thank you for renewing our strength through renewing our faith. When we are weary, Lord lift us up and encourage our hearts. Let us no longer be tired of the day's work. Let us find joy and peace in our labor, for we do it all unto you. Restore the joy of the salvation in the workplace.
Have mercy on our souls when we complain and grumble. Thank you for a chance to impact lives. God we acknowledge your sovereignty and thank you for each opportunity. We plead the blood of Jesus over our minds that we may think like you. We plead the blood of Jesus over every student for whom we are responsible that the instruction may fall on good ground.
We plead the blood of Jesus against every hinderance to their development regardless of where it comes from and who initiates it. We thank you that you are mighty and your blood is so powerful that it will cause the enemy to flee.
Thank you that no weapon formed against your teachers will prosper as we stand in the gap as workman for your cause. We thank you that you will provide for our families as your word has spoken. Thank you that we will not go lacking. Thank you that when people don't understand the intricacies of teaching that they will be slow to speak and quick to listen.
Thank you that you will give teachers a voice in the political arena so that we are not left uncovered and unheard. Thank you that we will no longer have regulations imposed upon us that you have not ordained and that we have had the opportunity to be adequately represented in the decision making process.
Thank you that you are our God and we stand in the place that you have called us to and we declare and decree that we will be found doing what you ask us to do, and we will be found being what you ask us to be. Thank you that we are more than conquerors and are mightily victorious through your word.
Thank you that you said you would be our rearward, so that we will not be overtaken as we strive to do your bidding. Thank you for favoreverywhere we go. For we ARE your people, and You ARE our God.
We love you and that's why we serve you.
In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
