Prayer For The Soldier
May your love encircle our wonderful servicemen and women as they work across the world to create justice and peace for all.
May your hope go before them carrying them through the difficulties and stresses they face. Lord, come by your Spirit and lead them through each complex situation.
Lord, come keep them safe under the shadow of your Almighty wings.
Amen.
Almighty God,
Thank You for the men and women who are on our soil defending us from nuclear threats and attacks. Father, I pray that you will disarm and fail every attempt the enemy has at causing destruction to our nation. Give our troops the knowledge in advance to divert any attempt to hurt us. Lord, be with our brave men and women here! I thank You for them all! I love You! Amen!

Thank You for the men and women that protect this nation! Father, as they protect us, protect them as well! Lord, You know where they will be today and I pray that You will be there with them to guide them through whatever challenges and trials they face this day. I thank You for these men and women, Lord! I love You! Amen
Precious Father, Your word says that a soldier who is enlisted in war does not entangle himself/herself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he/she may please the one who enlisted them. Lord, You know the sacrifices required for me to do well on my basic training and although I aim to please those who have enlisted me, I pray that my ultimate aim is to please You. While they teach me to be honorable, let my honor and loyalty reside with You, Amen.
Dear Lord, I thank You in advance for the strength that Your Word says that You give. Thank You for blessing me with peace even as I go to war. As I go through the basic training that is not only physically draining but mentally and emotionally draining fill me with overwhelming spiritual strength. Give me the strength to face each trial and test with an enduring heart, Amen.
Father, thank you for the privilege of praying for our service men and women. Like Aaron and Hur held up Moses' arms when he grew weary in battle, we, too, can support those we love and appreciate. Amen
Brave warriors,
should fate find us in battle,
May our cause be just.
May our leaders have clear vision.
May our courage not falter.
May we be triumphant an earn victory
as we show mercy to our enemies
Almighty and eternal God,
those who take refuge in you will be glad
and forever will shout for joy.
Protect these soldiers as they discharge their duties.
Protect them with the shield of your strength
and keep them safe from all evil and harm.
May the power of your love enable them to return home
in safety, that with all who love them,
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
