Prayer For The First Day Of Work
Almighty God, thank Thee for the job of this day.
May we find gladness in all its toil and difficulty,
its pleasure and success, and even in its failure and sorrow.
We would look always away from ourselves,
and behold the glory and the need of the world
that we may have the will and the strength to bring
the gift of gladness to others; that with them we stand to bear
the burden and heat of the day and offer Thee the praise of work well done.
Amen.
Father God, thank you for your word. Thank you that within it there are many promises that will bring success and prosperity in my life. I ask that you would lead me to the scriptures that I need to meditate on and declare to get success. Open my mind to receive your words and grant me the grace to be obedient in any way that I need to be today. Give me a willing spirit to follow your instructions. God make my hand skillful. I know that I won't win these battles in my own strength but I ask you for the skill and wisdom to make the right decisions. By Your Holy Spirit guide me to be in the right place at the right time. Father, make me diligent in all areas of my life. May I not be idle but making wise use of the time and skills that you have given me. Open the doors of opportunity for me so that I may walk through them. Give me a spirit of excellence so that I may do well all that you have committed to me. Through this diligence in the morning and in the evening I look to you for success. I will plant and another may water but I know that the growth, success and prosperity is in Your hands. Grant me success this day, in Jesus Name, Amen.
Dear God,
I am preparing to start a new job and I ask for Your support and blessing as I move forward. Regardless of my judgments, thoughts or past experiences, I am willing for this to be the most amazing job I've ever had.
I accept the perfection of Your Divine plan exactly as it is unfolding before me. I'm eager to discover the gifts and treasures You have aligned for me. Thank You, in advance, that the people I work with are harmonious,
supportive, helpful and kind. Thank You for helping me to quickly adapt to my new environment and for ensuring that my contribution feels meaningful and valued. You are my Source, therefore I will always be generously rewarded
and abundantly blessed. With Your guidance, I look forward to my new job and trust I will know what to do and how to do it with the greatest of ease and grace. Thy will be done. Amen
Father you said that you are my shepard and I shall not want, and that you would not leave my seed begging bread. Father you are not a man that you shall lie, and I beseech the oh Lord to hear my cry. To answer my prayer in my time of great need. I believe, therefore I shall receive my prayer request for a financial blessing and a new job and/or career. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray Amen!
Lord Jesus, as I enter this workplace,
I bring Your presence with me.
I speak Your peace, Your grace, and Your perfect order into the atmosphere of this office.
I acknowledge Your Lordship over all that will be spoken, thought, decided and accomplished within these walls.
Lord Jesus, I thank You for the gifts You have deposited in me.
I do not take them lightly, but commit to using them responsibly and well.
Give me a fresh supply of truth and beauty on which to draw as I do my job.
Anoint my creativity, my ideas, my energy so that even my smallest task may bring You honor.
Lord, when I am confused, guide me. When I am weary, energize me.
Lord, when I am burned out, infuse me with the light of Your Holy Spirit.
May the work that I do and the way I do it bring hope, life, and courage to all that I come in contact with today.
And, oh Lord, even in this day's most stressful moment, may I rest in You.
In the name of Jesus my savior I pray.

You are my strength Jesus. Help me to carry the responsibilities with grace. Help me to lift each worry or burden to You. Help me to defend truth, justice and righteousness in my practice. You are my strength Jesus. Thank you.

Dear Father, Thank you that you journey with me. You have been in the process of my learning, searching and applying for this post. Come Lord, fill my mind with confidence as I begin this new chapter in my life. When I feel uncertain about decisions in this new work, may I lean on you and your wisdom to guide me. Where I feel I lack confidence and self-belief, may your eternal strength empower me. Lord, come fill me with passion and inspiration for the tasks that lie ahead of me, and may I bring your love and truth to others through the work that I do now. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
