Prayer For Singles Who Want To Get Married
Heavenly Father, You were the One who made us male and female and You were the One Who placed each one of us in our families. You knew us before we were even born, while we were being secretly formed in our mother's womb.
But Lord, there are many Christian men and women that long to be married but find that the person that they so long to meet and spend their life with never seems to cross their path, and Lord it is for those believers who find themselves in this position that I am lifting up in prayer to You today.
Father, I ask that You look down in grace and mercy on all single men and women who have an inner yearning and desire to be married and yet have remained in their single status. I pray that You would look with compassion on the desires of their hearts, and bring into their life a person of Your choosing, with whom they can share their life and their future.
Father, I pray that during the time of waiting that You would guard their hearts and minds with the assurance that You know the intimate desires and needs of their hearts, and that in Your time and in Your way, You will bring into their life the person that You have been preparing for them, the one for whom You have been preparing them for as well! Pour into each heart a stillness and peace that only comes to the one that knows that their times and futures are in God's hands, and are prepared to trust every area of their futures into His loving hands. I ask this in Jesus' name,

Heavenly Lord, I am so blessed to be your child and I praise and thank You for always being there as my guard and guide, my defence and my defender. Thank You that I can turn to You no matter what happens, and even when I am completely alone, thank You that You are my ever present help in time of trouble.
Lord, I have also proved over and over again that when I seek to do things in my own strength I inevitable fail and fall and am slowly learning that without You I can do nothing, and yet You have promised that I can do all things through Christ, Who strengthens me. Thank You that in all things You are my sufficiency and my strength, and I pray that in all things I will find my wisdom and strength in You. Thank You, Lord, that You are always there for me and that You have promised never to fail not forsake me. Thank You in Jesus' name,

Dear Father, Your word says that we must wait on You and be of good courage. So, Father, we pray right now for singles who want to be married. I ask, Lord, that You will grant grace and mercy to all single women and men who have a desire for marriage. I pray that You will give them the desires of their heart. Father we commit their ways to You and trust that You will provide a wife/husband in Your perfect time. Amen.
Dear Father, Your word said it is not good that man should be alone and that You would make him a helper comparable to him. Dear Lord, I pray that You will supply every man with a good wife who will be his soulmate. Father, I pray that You will help men to find wives because You said that He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord. We declare favor to every single man and woman, in Jesus' name. Amen.
Oh Lord, Your word says that a man will leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife and they shall become one flesh. We pray, almighty God, for the longing desire of single men and women who want to be married. God, we pray for men to be mature men of God, who are willing to take on the spiritual leadership of the home. Lord, I pray that You help single women to be patient in waiting for the right Christian man to come along. This we ask in Your holy name, Amen.
Dear Lord, I thank You because You are the perfect matchmaker. I pray, Lord Jesus, that you will release the right man/women as my husband/wife, in Jesus' name. I pray that any force of darkness that is trying to stop us from meeting will be crushed. I reject any potential spouse who does not worship You as their one true God. I declare that Your will shall be done in my life. Amen.
Dear Lord, I thank You for holy gift of matrimony that comes from You. Jesus, I know that Satan is trying to destroy marriages and relationships all over the earth, but I pray that just as Abraham sent his servant to find a wife for Isaac, Your Holy Spirit will help me to find a husband/wife to be with for the rest of my life. I stand against the spirit of destruction, that wants to destroy my marriage before it has even begun. In Jesus' name. Amen.
Heavenly Father, You said whatever I ask, it shall be given. You said to seek, and I shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Father, I am asking, seeking and knocking for Your answer in my life for a husband/wife. Lord, while I patiently wait, help me not to fall into sexual temptation, but help me keep my eyes fixed on You because the enemy is like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour. So, Father, by Your Holy Spirit, help me to remain pure and holy, trusting that my heart's desire will be answered quickly. Amen.
