Prayer For Sick Husband
Lord, lift me up for Your blessings today. I pray that you will anoint me with strength and self care today, tomorrow, and always. I pray that You will grace me with patience and wisdom. I pray that You will encourage me throughout the day to take the correct steps to walk proudly, and behave well. I pray all of these things in Your name. Amen.
Merciful Jesus, you are my guide, the joy of my heart, the author of my hope, and the object of my love. I come seeking refreshment and peace. Show me your mercy, relieve my fears and anxieties, and grant me a quiet mind and an expectant heart, that by the assurance of your presence I may learn to abide in you, who is my Lord and my God. Amen.
Lord, look upon me with eyes of mercy. May Your healing hand rest upon me, may Your life-giving powers flow into every cell of my body and into the depths of my soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring me to wholeness and strength for service in Your Kingdom. Amen.
Lord Jesus Christ, by your patience in suffering you hallowed earthly pain and gave us the example of obedience to your Father's will. Be near me in my time of weakness and pain; sustain me by your grace, that my strength and courage may not fail; heal me according to your will; and help me always to believe that what happens to me here is of little account if you hold me in eternal life, my Lord and my God. Amen.
Loving God, I pray that you will comfort me in my suffering, lend skill to the hands of my healers, and bless the means used for my cure. Give me such confidence in the power of your grace, that even when I am afraid, I may put my whole trust in you; through our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
Dear Lord,
I come before you praying for my husband's healing. Lord you know the physical, emotional or spiritual healing he needs. Lord I trust your word that when I have faith my request will be granted (Matthew 5:28). Give me the eyes to see, the ears to hear and the wisdom to know how to pray for my husband's healing. For you alone Lord will receive Glory when he is healed. We seek to praise you in that healing. In Your Name I Pray, Amen!
Dear God, I come to you broken hearted and in pain. Please help my husband who is very ill. I do not know how I am going to manage without him. Please spare him from this dreadful illness and do not take him from me and my children. Please God answer
my prayer. I place all my trust in you,
Amen.
Father, You are Healer. You know our bodies better than we do. You know our spirit best because it is from You. I pray that my husband's body will be kept in perfect harmony, working together and functioning the way You designed it to.
Father, further on that note, we know we are to take care of our bodies, for they are the temple of the Holy Spirit. (1Cor.3:16-17) I pray You would convict him to make healthy eating choices, not consuming anything that would harm or inhibit him from doing the work You have called him to do. Help him understand that he was bought with a price and he should honor You with his body. (1Cor.6:19-20) I pray he would not fall to the temptation of food addictions or any other harmful addictions that are not honoring to You, but in view of Your great mercy, offer his body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to You. (Romans12:1)
Father, I pray also for his spiritual health. Urge him to obedience regarding being in Your word, learning more of You and growing closer to You, becoming more like Jesus. Do not let him forget Your teaching, but convict him to store your commands in his heart, for they will prolong his life and bring him prosperity. (Pr.3:1-2) Let him not be wise as the world considers wise. I pray he will seek first to fear You and shun evil for that will bring health to his body and nourishment to his bones. (Pr.3:7-8) Give him wisdom and the knowledge to understand that his first duty on this earth is to obey You and glorify You. (Ecc.12:13) Keep him in perfect health so he may carry out Your will for his life.
I pray that he may enjoy good health and that all may go well with him all the days of his life as his soul also continues growing well. (3John1:2) At the end of his long, obedient and good life, I pray he will be able to cross over into Your great presence gently, easily, peacefully and joyfully. In Jesus' name. Amen.
