Prayer For Saturday
Thank you, Father, for saving me all through the week. Amen
Lord, may nothing separate me from You today. Teach me how to choose only Your way today so each step will lead me closer to You. Help me walk by the Word and not my feelings. Help me to keep my heart pure and undivided. Protect me from my own careless thoughts, words, and actions. And keep me from being distracted by MY wants, MY desires, MY thoughts on how things should be. Help me to embrace what comes my way as an opportunity... rather than a personal inconvenience. And finally, help me to rest in the truth of Psalm 86:13, 'Great is your love toward me.' You already see the ways I will fall short and mess up. But right now, I consciously tuck Your whisper of absolute love for me into the deepest part of my heart. I recognize Your love for me is not based on my performance. You love me warts and all. That's amazing. But what's most amazing is that the Savior of the world would desire a few minutes with me this morning. Lord, help me to forever remember what a gift it is to sit with You like this. Amen.
Father God,
Thank You for this Saturday. We come today with hearts so full of gladness and appreciation for the friends You have given us in this world. We know that the church is Your heart, and that You have called us to come together in unity to follow You.
Help us to reach out to and pour into others. By Your Holy Spirit, guide us so that we may bless those around us with the grace and love You so freely give to us.
Help us to live by the Golden Rule when it comes to others. Move in our hearts and lives, creating opportunities for us to connect with those we do not know in order to cultivate new relationships and tend to well established ones. Community is Your heart, Lord, and we pray today that You would move in our hearts so it becomes a great desire in our own natures as well.

it is your hand
that stops us stumbling
or slipping on the path,
your word
that keeps us growing
and builds upon our faith,
your power
that grants endurance
whatever happens next.
Thank you
for joys discovered
and blessings received
in our journeying with you.
To whom can we turn
when we stumble from the path,
and this world challenges
all that we hold dear?
To whom can we turn
when the walls that we have built
begin tumbling down
leaving us helpless?
In you, O Lord
will we take refuge,
our strong fortress,
the rock upon which we stand,
our faithful God.
You are the God
who calls us to be
a chosen people,
a living sacrifice,
a holy nation.
You are the God
who calls us to be
a light in this world,
a faithful people,
a people of praise.
You are the God
who forgives
and restores us,
the God we serve.
Sweet Jesus, I come before you with my heart heavy. I ask for Your help. I lack hope. Lord, please grant me Your eternal hope. Father, without You, I am nothing and without You, I cannot face these obstacles.
Lord Jesus, when I lose hope, help me to remember that your love is greater than all my disappointments and your plan for my life is better than my dreams.
Lord, fill me with hope. Give me a continuous reminder that hope is an unbreakable spiritual lifeline that need not decrease.
Gracious lord, help me also to be a light of Hope to those who are in need.
May I be an example of your love and mercy and to tell others of your great grace and glory. Amen.
You have overcome the world and You will also help me to overcome my troubles. It is in our weaknesses that Your power is made most visible in our lives.
I thank you for the trials common to all followers of Christ. I call out for deliverance and yet endure the discomfort and affliction as a true soldier of the faith, all the while being joyful in hope, patient in affliction and faithful in prayer.
Because of the blood of Christ, I can overcome the opposition of the enemy and triumph in faith to the glory of God the Father. We pray this in Jesus' name, Amen.
