Prayer For Righteousness
Father, I see in Your Word that I have been made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. You have provided certain rights for me. I receive them now in Jesus' Name, and I thank You for them. As a new creation in Christ Jesus, I accept the gift of righteousness and all that gift includes: health, prosperity, peace, joy and abundant life. I put aside every weight and the sin that so easily trips me up. I now look to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of my faith.
Your Word also says that You are faithful and just to forgive me of my sins when I confess them, so I take this opportunity to confess any sin and get it out of my life, in order to maintain my complete fellowship with You. I receive Your forgiveness now in the Name of Jesus. I may not feel righteousI may not feel forgivenbut Your Word says it, so it must be true. Satan, I now put on the breastplate of righteousness and come against you with the sword of the Spirit.
According to Your Word, God, I can now reign in this life as a king. The power of sin and death in my life has been overcome. No longer am I ruled by the forces of evil but by You, the God above all gods. I am more than a conqueror through You who love me.
I determine today to walk conscious of my right-standing with You, Lord, and with every step to draw closer and closer to You. Thank You for the gift of righteousness. Because of that gift, I can do all things through Christ, the Anointed One and His Anointing, which strengthens me.

Lord I rejoice because being blessed means that I do not have to follow the advice of the wicked or enjoy the company of sinners. I do not have to sit with those who ridicule others. I pray that I continue to delight in Your law, meditating on it day and night. Lord I want to be like the tree planted along the riverbank, bearing good fruit. I pray that I will never wither and that I prosper in all that I do, Amen.
Righteous God, I seek You with all my heart; do not let me stray from Your commandments neither through ignorance nor by willful disobedience. I have treasured and stored Your Word in my heart so that I will not sin against You. I pray that You strengthen me so that I can become spiritually mature and more like You in every aspect of my life. I declare that I will remain on Your path of righteousness, Amen.
O Lord, I pray that my mind focuses on what is true, honorable and worthy of respect. I pray that whatever is right and confirmed by Your Word; whatever is pure and wholesome is what I fixate on. I declare that all things that are admirable and of good repute are at the center of my mind. May all things that are praiseworthy be the foundation of my daily meditation, Amen.
Heavenly Father, I pray that my behavior and my lifestyle reflect You. I know that acting out of righteousness and justice is more acceptable to You than sacrifice for wrongs that are repeatedly committed. I pray that I remain a righteous being, doing things that are acceptable in Your sight. I pray that when I fall short, I do not remain in a place of unholiness, I declare that I will always pursue the paths of righteousness, Amen.
Lord, I pray for divine strength and spiritual endurance right now. Even though my outward self is perishing, my inward self is renewed daily. Lord I believe that You make all things new, therefore each day I am renewed by Your Holy Spirit. I will not become distracted by my situation, instead I will use this pressure to help me become more like You and remain on the path of righteousness, Amen.
Awesome God, I pray that I do not seek materialistic things nor become tempted by the desires of my flesh. I declare that I will seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness because I know that everything else that I need or may want will be given to me. I pray that righteousness motivates all of my actions, not self. I pray that You create in me a clean heart and renew the right spirit within me, Amen.
Righteous God, I want to be more like You so help me actively pursue righteousness and love. I do not want to waste my time being like the world because the world can only offer me temporary, unsatisfactory things. I choose to seek You because I know that You offer life, prosperity and honor. Your Word says that the righteous will never be shaken and will be remembered forever. I thank You for Your righteousness, Amen.
