Prayer For Poor Souls In Purgatory
O Mary, may the souls who suffer cruel torments in Purgatory, purified by the ardor of the flames, be the object of thy compassion!
O Mary, Open Spring which cleanses our faults, Reconciler of sinners, reach out to those who pray to thee and implore thy assistance in Purgatory!
O Mary, intercede for our deceased. They await patiently the end of their suffering when they will see thee and taste eternal joys!
O Mary, Model of the Just, Guide of the faithful, Salvation of those who hope in thee, help us to pray ardently for the souls of the deceased and touch the Heart of thy Divine Son!
O Mary, by the merits thou hast gained, give the dead true life, obtain mercy for them, and be the way which leads to thy Son Jesus and to Eternal Rest!

O Lord God Almighty, I beseech Thee by the Precious Blood which Thy divine Son Jesus shed in the Garden, deliver the souls in Purgatory, and especially that one which is the most forsaken of all, and bring it into Thy glory, where it may praise and bless Thee forever. Amen.
O God, the Creator and Redeemer of all the faithful, grant unto the souls of Thy servants and handmaids the remission of all their sins, that through our devout supplications they may obtain the pardon they have always desired, Who livest and reignest, world without end. Amen.
O Mother of mercy! Dear soother in grief!
Lend thou to their torments a balmy relief;
Temper the rigour of justice severe;
And soften their flames with a pitying tear.
All ye who would honour the Saints and their Head,
Remember, remember, to pray for the dead;
And they, in return, from their misery freed,
To you will be friends in the hour of need. Amen
My God! I recommend to Thee the souls of my relations, my benefactors, my friends, and my enemies, and of those who are in purgatory on my account. I recommend to Thee the souls of evangelical laborers, of Religious and priests, and especially of those who had charge of my soul. I recommend to Thee the souls of those who were most devout to the passion of Our Lord, to the Blessed Sacrament, to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the souls who are most abandoned, those who suffer most, and those who are nearest to the entrance into paradise. Amen
