Prayer For House Blessing And Protection
O Mighty God, I cannot protect my home from spiritual forces. I am but one weak person, and cannot resist the attacks of the Devil and his minions. However, with the protection of Your Holy Angels, no Devil even thinks to come near my home and family. Father, continue to send Your angelic hosts to protect the home of Your servant. Shield our abode through the power of Your angelic warriors, so that they might fend off any demonic attack upon us, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Lord Jesus, You are the Good Shepherd who lays down his life for his sheep. You keep us fed and cared for. You allow us to graze in Your green pastures without fear. You drive off the wolves who would do us harm. O Lord, let our home be as Your pasture. Help us not to worry about the attacks of wolves. Drive away all predators with Your rod and staff. Keep us steadfast and protected, that we might faithfully follow You in all of our doings. Hear our prayer. Amen.
Faithful God, through You I have received all my possessions, health, property, and prosperity. You have seen fit to bless me with all these things and I gladly receive them and steward them as You have instructed. Lord, become the head of our household. Help Your servant to be humbly obedient to Your word and lead my family as You lead Your church. You live and reign with Your Son and Holy Spirit, one God now and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
O Jehovah, my God, in the abundance of Your love and mercy, You have provided us with shelter and protection. Yet, there are times in our lives when we must go away from our home for a duration of time. As we will not be there to steward and care for our property, we ask that You guard and protect our home while we are away. Be as a mighty bulwark and defend our home from destruction and calamity. Preserve our place of living while we are unable. Amen.
Jesus, my Savior, public life is often so incredibly taxing. At the end of a long and challenging day, we crave the solitude and serenity of home. Thus, we come to You to pray for a peace that surpasses all understanding be bestowed upon our home. Remove all pretense of stress and anxiety from within our abode and fill it with the certainty of Your presence. Keep and bless this place in Your Son's most precious name. Amen.
Lord Jesus, in Your ministry You drove demons and evil spirits out of the bodies of the people. You sanctified all things by Your touch so that people were healed by merely touching Your garment. As we prepare to live in a new home, we ask that You drive all former darkness from this place. Banish all evil from within these rooms, and send them back from whence they came. Prepare our hearts to be able to keep the spirits away, and shield our home by Your Holy Spirit. Amen.
Almighty God, through this door of our home we conduct all coming and going. As we pass through this door and enter our home, we pray that You would fill all with Your presence. Let this house be as the Holy of Holies as You draw us closer to Yourself. Let the floors of this place be Your holy ground so that we might always be aware of Your watchful eye. Let Your name be always on our hearts and minds, through Jesus Christ, Your Son, and our Lord. Amen.
Dear Lord Above
Lord, I pray Your emotional, physical, and spiritual protection over my kids (grandkids). Keep evil far from them, and help them to trust You as their refuge and strength.
I pray You will guard their minds against harmful instruction, and grant them discernment to recognize the truth. I pray You will make them strong and courageous in the presence of danger, recognizing that You have overcome and will set right all injustice and wrong one day. Help them to find rest in Your shadow, as they live in the spiritual shelter You provide for them. Let them know that the only safe place is in Jesus and that their home on earth is only temporary.
