Prayer For Hockey Players
Lord, please touch Rich with your divine, healing hand. See that medical staff have the guidance of holy angels to diagnose and treat him back to good health quickly. See that this occasion be an event that glorifies the Father. Lead souls toward the heavenly kingdom by this. Have mercy, Lord, and grant all involved, especially this hockey player, ever graces for faith, hope, love, and joy. Our Lady, angels, and saints, pray with us. Amen.
Our Father who art in the rink,
Hockey be thy name.
Thy will be done, the Cup will be won
On ice, as well as in the stands.
Give us this day, our hockey sticks
And forgive us our penalties
As we forgive those who cross-check against us.
And lead us not into elimination
But deliver us to victory.

And thy holy sport.
