Prayer For Healing Betrayal

Father God, in Jesus' name, thank You that Your strength and grace are available to me right now. Father, fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Fill me with Your grace. Make Your strength perfect in my weakness, Father. I know that I'm very weak in and of myselfbut Your Spirit, who raised Christ from the dead, dwells in me. So raise me up, Lord. Take my weakness away and fill me with Your strength. Order my steps today in Your Word. Help me to stay within Your holy flow today, Lord, and make it easy. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.

Heavenly Father, in Jesus' name, please heal my heart and fill me with joy again. You know I lost my joy because of the things that happened, but I have forgiven the people who hurt me. Now, Father, I need You to restore my heart.

Restore unto me the joy of my salvation, Father. Uphold me with Your generous Spirit. Strengthen and help me, Lord. Put the bounce back in my step, the smile back on my face, and the dance back in my feet.

Help me to rejoice always, Father, for this is Your will for me. Thank You, Father God, and I praise You for hearing and answering my prayer. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.

Father God, I've been struggling to forgive and let this go, but I know You can help me. Please give me a willingness to forgive the same way Jesus forgave those who murdered Him.

Change my heart, Lord, and help me to care more about obeying You than I do about holding onto anything that has been done to me. Help me to forgive completely and from my heart, Lord. Thank You. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.

Father,

Bless me with the wonderful power of forgiveness, give me the grace to unconditionally forgive those who have done me wrong. Give me the strength to let go of all ill-will, the strength to forgive myself of my own failings and sins, knowing that you have already forgiven me. Free me of all anger, bitterness, hate and unforgiveness. I lift this person up to You, God, so that they may be able to forgive themselves for their betrayal of me as I work to forgive them.

Amen

God,

Please help me see that revenge will only bring more hurt and anger, and will not make me feel closer to You. God please remind me that You are aware of my pain, and that You have not left my side. I know that You do not want me to hold evil in my heart, and instead I should trust that You will find justice for my hurt. Thank you Lord for listening to my prayers and taking away this pain!

Amen

Father,

Help us today to get over the memories and pain involved with having been betrayed by someone we loved and we thought loved us. Thank you for keeping us in perfect peace, regardless of circumstances beyond our control. We turn the hurt and pain over to you, cleanse our hearts and renew our spirits.

In Your Name, the Name above all names we pray. Amen and Amen.

God,

I've been betrayed by someone and I feel angry, sad and devastated. These feelings are consuming my thoughts and I feel miserable. I call upon Your love to lift me up and remind me I am worthy of being treated with love, honor and respect. I am learning that what You created within me cannot be altered, harmed or threatened by another person. If I choose to hold on to my feelings of pain and judgment, I will not feel the safety of Your love, or experience the happiness and abundance I deserve. I'm willing to trade these miserable feelings for the peace that You have for me. I'm willing to forgive this person, release my grievance and turn this over to You. As I choose to forgive, I open myself to receive Your enormous blessings and miracles. I gladly exchange this pain for the freedom and happiness I deserve.

Thy will be done. Amen

Lord,

As I move forward with other relationships in my life, help me not to punish those who have goodwill toward me by assuming that they will betray me like people in the past have done. Help me to trust the people I know who are treating me well. If it is Your will, please help me to rebuild trust in the relationship of the one who hurt me, if they choose to reconcile with me. It will be a difficult process, but with Your grace I will work hard to create a foundation of trust in relationships.

Amen.
