Prayer For God's Power
Father, I pray that You will visit us, and make Your presence known in my life and in my city. Give me faith to believe that You can change my city through prayer and through acts of love and compassion. Let Your Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. Help me to cultivate Your presence in my life. I choose to partner with You for transformation in my city. Help me to contend for my city in prayer with others. Remove the distractions in my life that keep me from Your presence [Repent of any distractions in your life]. I repent of any pride or personal idols that have taken me away from having you in first place and being completely Yours (Name them one by one - i.e. television material possessions, food, sports, work, etc.]. Take away any luke-warmness in my heart and set me on fire for You.
Dear Lord, show us how to live in a place where we are aware of our constant communion with You.
As Your child I humbly come before You. Thank You that I get to rest under the shelter of Your wings, here in the secret place of Your presence. I praise You, and I worship You, Lord.
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. (Psalm 91:1 NKJV)
I humbly hand over my heart to You, and I say, Lord, here's my heart, search me and know me, show me anything in my life that is keeping me from being as close as I can be with You.
Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting. (Psalm 139:23-24 NIV)
As You show me these things in my heart and in my life, Holy Spirit, will You show me what You would like me to do? Will You show me how to let go of these things? Will You show me if there is any unforgiveness or pride in my heart?
Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. (Psalm 51:10-12 NIV)
Anything I am hanging on to that belongs to You, anything that I have willingly allowed into my life that is not in alignment with You and Your ways, I lay it down at the foot of the cross. I surrender all to You, Lord Jesus. Thank you for taking these burdens, Lord. Thank you for what You did on the cross to set us free from death. In You I have victory! I praise You, Jesus!
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. (Matthew 11:29 NIV)
Lord God, you have sent your followers to preach the Gospel to the whole world by word and example. We thank you for those who have used their talents to communicate your word and your love to us. We ask that you help each of us that we may always hear your word as it comes to us in the many areas of our lives. Help us to communicate your love to others that all may come to know you and be renewed in your love. We ask this through the Word made flesh, Jesus Christ our Lord.

God, I bring my fears to the foot of the cross today and exchange them for Your promises. Where I feel powerless, I ask for Your power to overcome my situation. Show me which step of faith You want me to take today, and help me to take the opportunity immediately when it comes. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Heavenly Father, we gather together and come into agreement in the wonderful and powerful Name of Jesus Christ.
Where two or more are gathered there You'll be in the midst of us and anything we agree upon as touching You will surely do.
Father in Jesus Name, there is no distance in the spirit and we thank You for the listener who desires a prayer for a fresh surge of God's power in your life.
Father we praise You for Your awesome strength and power!
You are awesome! You are more than enough! You are the listener's Source and Provider!
Praise You that You freely give Your power to the listener through the Holy Spirit that is in them.
Right now they open up their heart to You by faith, fresh and new, and we ask You to fill them to overflowing in Jesus Name with an infilling of Your power!

We decree and declare that they are supernaturally empowered right now!
Praise You for the Holy Spirit's strength in them!
A fresh surge of power is always a prayer away!
We decree and declare that this superhuman and supernatural strength abounds in the listener right now!
They receive Your divine power and we praise You in advance!
We believe and receive everything we've prayed and give You glory in advance for this prayer is answered!
In the wonderful and precious Name of Jesus we pray, amen.
Dear God,
We thank you that you indeed are powerful and loving, that out of your glorious riches you strengthen us through your Spirit in our inner being. We ask you for the fresh filling of your Holy Spirit, we ask for your power and love to fill us. We thank you that as believers we know that Christ dwells richly within our hearts through faith. We pray that you would strengthen our roots and establish our lives firmly in your love.
When the world shouts hate, help us to love. When the past won't let go, help us to love. When the enemy taunts with lies and surrounds with darkness, help us to love. When a relationship feels broken or we're betrayed or rejected, help us to love.
Help us to love, and to keep on loving. By the power of your Spirit.
Even when it seems impossible.
Even when it doesn't make sense.
May our lives be filled with your goodness and power, today and every day, as we walk in your Spirit of love.
