Prayer For Giving Thanks
Heavenly father. Thank you for this day of work. Let me learn from my mistakes and success this day to make tomorrow full of your glory. Keep me honest, patient, and humble.
Please help me serve every customer as if it were Jesus in the flesh.
Bless me for tomorrow so that I may be good in spirit as I work another day and fulfill your glory. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
Redeemer, we also want to give You thanks for waking us up on this glorious day. We thank You for protection, not only over ourselves, but for our loved ones as well.
We give thanks for health, strength, grace, forgiveness, peace, joy, for loving us unconditionally and never failing us.
Lead us, Lord that whatever we do, we do it in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
2 Corinthians 9:15 Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!
We give you thanks, most gracious God, for the beauty of earth and sky and sea; for the richness of mountains, plains, and rivers; for the songs of birds and the loveliness of flowers. We praise you for these good gifts, and pray that we may safeguard them for our posterity. Grant that we may continue to grow in our grateful enjoyment of your abundant creation, to the honor and glory of your Name, now and for ever. Amen.
Merciful Savior, we bow down before your throne to magnify and worship you. We honor your beautiful majesty. We exalt you, Oh Lord. All the world will praise your great name.
We come before you, Adonai our God, asking anything, but to give you thanks for all you've done and are going to do in our unworthy lives.
1 Chronicles 16:34 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
Heavenly Father, I humbly come before You with a grateful heart, praising You with all my being, for I know that every good and perfect gift comes from You The One who never changes. I recognize those good things, both large and small, with which You have blessed me. As I lift up this prayer, I also recognize our forgetfulness in giving You thanks each and every day. Forgive me. May I learn to thank You for the good; And may I trust the evil to be made good by You. For You alone are worthy of our praise and thanksgiving. Amen.
Heavenly Father, on this day I give You thanks for waking me up this morning and starting me on my way. Today, I ask that I recognize how blessed I am that I may be spiritually transformed. Help me to not wake up with a complaining spirit, an attitude and dwelling on yesterday's problems. Instead, I ask that You change our complaining to thanksgiving, our attitude to love and that I turn all my problems and stress over to You. In Your Holy name I pray. Amen.
Thank You, Father, for sending Your Son, our Saviour Jesus Christ to come to this earth and to be born into the human race, over two thousand years ago, so that by His death and resurrection we might be able to look to Him as our Redeemer.
Lord, I believe.
I believe that He took the punishment that I deserve, in His body on the cross, when He suffered and died so long ago. I accept that I am a sinner and I understand that the penalty of sin is death, eternal separation
from God and all that is good and lovely, honorable and perfect.
And so I thank You Father for Jesus. I thank You for the wonderful plan of salvation that includes even me, and I ask for Your forgiveness of my sins, for I confess You as My Saviour and have come to trust You as my
Lord.
Thank You, that the Lord Jesus Christ did all the work of salvation Himself on my behalf, and there is nothing else for me to do, except to believe in His name and receive Your free gift of grace, the everlasting gift
of eternal life, which You purposed for all who trust in Jesus.
Thank You, Father,
Amen.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You that we who trust in the Lord Jesus as our Lord and Savour and are all part of your heavenly family, will one day be spending eternity together with You in our glorified bodies, when You will wipe away all tears from our
eyes.
Thank You for the love and support that we are able to share together as we rejoice in our wonderful Salvation, and look forward to our eternal position in the heavenly Jerusalem in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Thank You, that through the work of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross, our sins have been forgiven. Thank You that in Your grace, You have clothed us in His righteousness and seated us together with Christ Jesus in
heavenly places. Thank You that when we are tired and weary, we may come to You for rest and thank You that no matter what problems and difficulties overtake our lives, You have promised to be with us always, even to the
end of the age.
Thank You that You have promised to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory. Help us individually and collectively to encourage, edify and uplift each other as we wait for that wonderful day when Jesus
will come to take us to be with Himself into heaven. In Jesus' name we pray,
Amen.
