Prayer For First Day Of Work

Dear God,
I am preparing to start a new job and I ask for Your support and blessing as I move forward. Regardless of my judgments, thoughts or past experiences, I am willing for this to be the most amazing job I've ever had. I accept the perfection of Your Divine plan exactly as it is unfolding before me. I'm eager to discover the gifts and treasures You have aligned for me. Thank You, in advance, that the people I work with are harmonious, supportive, helpful and kind. Thank You for helping me to quickly adapt to my new environment and for ensuring that my contribution feels meaningful and valued. You are my Source, therefore I will always be generously rewarded and abundantly blessed. With Your guidance, I look forward to my new job and trust I will know what to do and how to do it with the greatest of ease and grace. Thy will be done. Amen

Father God, You said in your word that you shall supply ALL of my needs through your riches and glory in Christ Jesus. You said that I should look to the hills from whence cometh my help. Lord you said that you will open the windows of heaven and poor me out a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.Father you said that you are my shepard and I shall not want, and that you would not leave my seed begging bread. Father you are not a man that you shall lie, and I beseech the oh Lord to hear my cry. To answer my prayer in my time of great need. I believe, therefore I shall receive my prayer request for a financial blessing and a new job and/or career. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray Amen!

God, you are so generous. You provided, just as you promised. You said, I will supply all your needs out of my vast store of wealth in heaven. I believed this, and now I've seen you prove it, first hand. I asked for a job and you gave one! I am so grateful. These are hard time for many people. I don't take this gift lightly. I believe I will be a blessing to my new employer; they certainly will be a blessing to me and my family. In I'm honored with this trust! Thank you! Thank you!

Now I ask for wisdom. I have employment; I need strength and endurance to DO the job I've been assigned. Honestly, today I feel over my head. I have so much to learn, so many people to get to know, so many policies to master, so many new paths to walk, and seemingly all at the same time. The stress of no-work has been replaced by the stress of too-much-work. I need your help.

You have promised, in James 1, that I can ask for wisdom and you will give it. This is for me! Please grant me wisdom, today. I'm not smart enough to handle my new duties. I need insight, emotional strength, guidance with time management, empathy in relationships, creativity to solve challenges, and most of all joy when I feel overwhelmed by the expectations others are placing on me, and expectations I'm placing on myself.

Thank you for providing this new job. Now please give me what all I need to master it. I ask knowing that you hear and care. You have given provision; you won't leave me alone to do it alone. Even as I pray this, I believe you are already answering my request. Thank you for wisdom!

I pray this in Jesus' great name!

Lord Jesus, as I enter this workplace,
I bring Your presence with me.
I speak Your peace, Your grace, and Your perfect order into the atmosphere of this office.
I acknowledge Your Lordship over all that will be spoken, thought, decided and accomplished within these walls.

Lord Jesus, I thank You for the gifts You have deposited in me.
I do not take them lightly, but commit to using them responsibly and well.
Give me a fresh supply of truth and beauty on which to draw as I do my job.

Anoint my creativity, my ideas, my energy so that even my smallest task may bring You honor.
Lord, when I am confused, guide me. When I am weary, energize me.
Lord, when I am burned out, infuse me with the light of Your Holy Spirit.

May the work that I do and the way I do it bring hope, life, and courage to all that I come in contact with today.
And, oh Lord, even in this day's most stressful moment, may I rest in You.
In the name of Jesus my savior I pray.
Amen.

Dear Father, Thank you that you journey with me. You have been in the process of my learning, searching and applying for this post. Come Lord, fill my mind with confidence as I begin this new chapter in my life. When I feel uncertain about decisions in this new work, may I lean on you and your wisdom to guide me. Where I feel I lack confidence and self-belief, may your eternal strength empower me. Lord, come fill me with passion and inspiration for the tasks that lie ahead of me, and may I bring your love and truth to others through the work that I do now. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Dear Father,
Thank you for your goodness, mercies and your love. You have been a wonderful father and provider to me. I am so grateful for all that you have done for me. My words cannot fully express how deeply appreciative I am for your continuous blessings in my life.

Father, I am thankful for you answering my prayer. Your hand of favour has blessed me with a new job. Your word in the book of Psalm states that promotion cometh neither from the east nor the west nor from the south. So, I give you thanks for your provision and your favour over my life.

Father, today is my first day at this new job. Help me oh lord to learn everything that is required of me effectively and speedily. Grant me favour with my colleagues and manager. Calm my nerves and fears, dear Father.

Give me faith and courage so that I can be a great ambassador for you. Help me to say what you want me to. Help me to act in a manner that is pleasing to you.

Remember the person who is doing the orientation and training. Touch his/her speech so that principles and processes will be explained in a clear and detailed manner.

Father you are in control. I place my trust and faith in you. You have seen me through in times past and by your strong right hand, I will excel at this new chapter.

Just be with me as I go. What I am asking for myself, don't fail to grant this same blessing to another brother or sister who may be starting a new job today.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Father, thank you for all the ways you've blessed me, specifically with this job that pays my bills and puts food on my table. Thank you that ALL work has significance because work is good. Help me bring you glory today, through my actions, my words, through the good work I do to bring order to my little corner of the world. Help me view my work as a blessing and not a curse. Give me grace and strength for the hardest aspects of my job. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.
