Prayer For Final Exams
Jesus, my Savior, I am full of anxiety right now because I'm about to take my final exam. May your grace be sufficient for me during this period. Give me direction, that I may know the right places to focus my energy and time during test to maximize my resulting grade. Please help me to retain everything that I have studied, so that I can be able to use it on the test. As I take time to read and prepare, help me to focus on you and not on my capabilities. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
Compassionate and Gracious God, I will be taking my exams in a few days, and I am frightened. Please be with me, Lord. Fill my heart with your presence and help me to find rest in your Son, Jesus. Help me to depend on you for protection and guidance. Remind me that I am your child when fear creeps in my heart. Give me strength so that I can take my eyes off myself and focus on your grace. Lord, cover me in your peace and help me to know that my worth is in Christ and not my grade. In Jesus' name, I believe and pray, Amen.
God of Miracles, as I head out to the exam room, I ask you to go before me. I am so nervous and do not feel prepared enough to take this test. May your presence fill the examination room, so that peace may reign and I may be strengthened. Thank you for being with me always. If it weren't for you, I know I wouldn't have made it this far. I ask you to please grant me the wisdom to focus on what is important when answering questions. Keep me strong to the end, so that your name may be glorified. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
Almighty God, the day for my final exam is here, and I want to say thank you for helping me prepare for this exam. God, guide me throughout the day so that I may not stumble and fall. May my mind stay on you all day long, so that I may experience your perfect peace. Help me to trust in the ability of your dear Son, Jesus, and not myself. As I leave this place and go to the testing place, I will walk with confidence because I know that you have already blessed the works of my hand, not because I am good but because you are a good Father. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
All-Powerful Father, you are my strength and shield. My heart trusts in you, and I am helped. I come to your throne this morning as I prepare to go for my final exam. I ask you to grant me the strength to handle all this pressure that I am under. Father, be at my right hand and cause me to prosper today. Help me to be strong and courageous. Let your peace rule my heart and mind. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
Jesus, my Savior of Loving Devotion, be with me throughout my exam today. I have studied so hard and so long. I am exhausted now, and probably on the verge of getting sick. I have given all my energy toward preparing for this exam, and I just need the endurance to make it through the exam before I crash. Please give me the energy to persevere through to the end, no matter how difficult the examination might be. May your hand be upon me so that I may think clearly in my exhaustion, and answer each question correctly. Help me read the questions accurately, and answer succinctly and clearly. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
Oh Lord of Enduring Faithfulness, thank you for the sacrifice that Jesus made at the scourging post. Come be with me now and calm my fears. I have studied, but am so worried about my upcoming test. It will be a big part of my grade, and I am scared that I am not going to do well. Thinking about this exam is consuming my thoughts and disrupting my sleep. Please keep me physically and emotionally healthy while I prepare for this exam. Remove anxiety from my heart. Let your resurrection power rest upon me so that I can walk in wholeness. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
God in Heaven, I exalt your name forever and ever. You are full of compassion, and your tender mercies are over all your works. Thank you for this season that I'm in. I wouldn't have made it this far in school without you. God, as we come to the end of the semester, I ask you to be with me as I prepare for my exams. Still my heart from anything that troubles it, and help me to focus on my studies. Let the meditations of my heart be pleasing to you. Help me to walk into the classroom on test day with confidence, because the righteous are as bold as a lion. In Jesus' name, I believe and pray, Amen.
