Prayer For Expectant Mothers Christian
Grant me a motherly heart that is pure, steadfast and generous.
I hand over to you my own concerns;
any anxious fears that may come,
my own wishes for the little person
that I still have no knowledge of.
Grant that it may be born healthy in body,
keep far from it perils to the soul.
Lord,
I thank You for this baby and I give my pregnancy to You, praying that throughout the whole time You will be there to comfort and encourage and strengthen each member of the family.
I pray that You would place Your hand of blessing on this little human being that is being formed in my womb... may he or she grow up to know You and may they become a mighty person of God.
Thank You for all my children, which have become such a blessing to me - into Your hand I commit myself, my husband, my family and this precious little addition to our home - for which I praise You
Almighty and Everlasting God, through the power of the Holy Spirit, you prepared the body and soul of the Virgin Mary to be a worthy dwelling place for you divine Son. You Sanctified St. John the Baptist, while still in his mother's womb. Listen now to my prayer. Watch over my child and me; protect us at the time of delivery. May my child receive the saving graces of Baptism, lead a Christian life, and together with all members of our family, attain everlasting happiness in heaven. Amen.
Dear God, let this child hear the sounds of love,
within the heart and soul.
Echo the mother's heartbeat,
Resound the father's words,
Replay the wishes and blessings shared today.
Together and with your guidance,
We sing the sounds of love
For this new little life
To hear now and forevermore.

Together, we ask our Lord to bless this family.
Bless us all with a healthy, happy child
Who will love us as we love you.
Bless the mother with a safe delivery,
and the father with strength to see her through.
Bless this precious child of God,
Who will love you as we love him.
As God watches over us all,
We pray He watches over your new baby.
May your child find safe entry into
The physical and spiritual worlds.
May she feel the love of God
As expressed through your loving arms
As God watches over us all,
He will guide your child
Into the physical and spiritual worlds
To see true love as expressed by our loving Father.
Dear little one,
Please listen to my words,
they are spoken with love and the guidance of our God.
You are loved in ways we cannot measure.
You are special in ways we cannot explain.
You are divine in ways we cannot understand.
God has created you to be with us for reasons we'll soon discover.
Welcome to this family, welcome to this world, and welcome to the Kingdom of God!
We eagerly await your arrival
and ask God to help us be patient, loving, and important in your life.
All loving God,
you created the human family
as a reflection of your own divine life
so that your creation might share in your happiness.
Hear our prayer for your daughter
who awaits the birth of her child.
She has cooperated with you in giving life.
Assist her now as she prepares to give birth
to the child in her womb.
May Mary be her guide and support,
calming her fears and strengthening her love.
May your daughter be filled with your peace and blessing
so that she may bring her child into this world
safely and in good health to the praise and
glory of your name.
