Lord, we thank you for the food we are about to eat, it is the daily bread You give us to sustain our bodies.
We thank You for the gift of Your word the bread which has come down from heaven to refresh our spirits. May we share the table of Your heavenly banquet where we shall never hunger and always be satisfied in knowing and loving You. Amen.
Almighty God, Who has given us grace at this time with one accord to make our common supplications unto thee, and does promise that when two or three are gathered together in Thy name, you will grant their requests.
Fulfill now, O Lord, the desires and petitions of your servants, as may be most expedient for them; granting us in this world knowledge of your truth, and in the world to come life everlasting, Amen.

From the rising of the sun
to its setting
your name is to be praised
Merciful God,
Gracious Lord.
Hear us in the name of Your Son,
For He has promised
that where two or three of us
are gathered in Your name
He would be with us
and our prayer would be heard.

For He is the revelation of your wisdom,
the outpouring of your glory,
the incarnation of your mercy toward us
and the whole human race.

Oh Lord, please instruct us and teach us in the way that we should conduct this meeting. Please counsel us with Your loving eye on us. Let our aims in this meeting be aligned with Your direction. Let our plans be orchestrated by You. Father, let Your will be done in this meeting so that this can be a meeting that is based upon Your desires for us. Whatever it is that You want to result from this meeting, Lord, let it happen, Amen.
Precious Lord, please give us guidance in this meeting because a lack of guidance causes a nation to fall, but victory is won through many advisers. Lord, let us not be misguided in this meeting so that we do not lead to decisions that produce ineffective results. I pray that You direct our steps so that this meeting can achieve our kingdom aims. We place You at the center of this, Amen.
Loving God, let me be strong today
as I meet new people in new places.
Make me brave when I am worried,
show me how to learn from everyone around me,
and help me to do my very best. Amen.
Be to us, O Lord,
a support in our setting out,
a comfort by the way,
a shadow in the heat,
a covering in the rain and cold,
a conveyance in weariness,
a protection in adversity,
a staff in unsteady ways,
and a port in shipwreck;
that, with you being our Leader,
we may reach the place we seek,
and at length we may return again to our home in safety.
Dear heavenly Father, we thank you for gatherings all of us today in this important event. May you bestow your guidance and blessings on this event so that we can enjoy and appreciate its significance in our lives. Bless everyone present today that each may be able to share what she or he has for your glory and honor.
Grant good health and safety to loved ones left at home and peace and goodwill to all men. May the various activities related to this event be a success, through your intervention.
