Prayer For Depression
Dear God,
I am on my knees, because I don't have the strength to stand up.
My strength is gone. I can't deal with my depression by myself any longer.
I am lonely.
I call on You.
I have faith that Your strength is bigger than my depression,
that Your mercy and healing white light will show me the path home.
I am not alone.
You're rod and staff comfort me as I walk through the valley of the shadow of depression
and there is nothing I shall fear.

O Christ Jesus,
when all is darkness
and we feel our weakness and helplessness,
give us the sense of Your presence,
Your love, and Your strength.
Help us to have perfect trust
in Your protecting love
and strengthening power,
so that nothing may frighten or worry us,
for, living close to You,
we shall see Your hand,
Your purpose, Your will through all things.
Father, I cry out to You Lift my eyes to see hope rise. I cry out to You Change the colour of my thoughts to a rainbow day. I cry out to You Blow away the dark clouds to bring Your light. I cry out to You Break into my heavy heart and breathe Your life into me. That in the morning I may rise to a rainbow day, Full of Your light and breathing Your life. Lord, I cry out to You. Amen
Dear Lord, I am suffering from depression and anxiety disorder. Thank you for giving me the medical attention that has helped place my soul back into my skin. Give all of us who suffer this stress the courage and strength to trust you and allow the Holy Spirit to guide us. You love and through your love all things are possible.
In Jesus' name we praise you.

God bless all who are battling those inner demons of depression, loneliness, unworthiness, and hopelessness. Shine Your warm Heavenly Light down upon all of us, Lord, who are looking for our soul mates. Guide us to find peace, happiness, and contentment in our lives and within ourselves.

Heavenly Father, grant me peace of mind and calm my troubled heart. My soul is like a turbulent sea. I can't seem to find my balance so I stumble and worry constantly. Give me the strength and clarity of mind to find my purpose and walk the path you've laid out for me. I trust your Love God, and know that you will help me out of this darkness. Just as the sun rises each day against the dark of night. Please bring me clarity with the light of God.

Battling depression is an uphill battle. Most of the time you're slipping back down the hill. This prayer asks for strength to battle depression and keep moving forward.
God help me for I am battling the inner demons of depression, loneliness, and hopelessness. Shine Your warm heavenly light down on me. I am in need of strength and courage. Help me to be gentle with myself whenever I regress. Give me courage and strength to move forward in my perfect way. Guide me to find peace, happiness, and contentment in myself and in life. Amen.
Dear Lord,
I come to You today to ask for help. You are my everything. Lord, I need rest. I give You my worry. Take it, Lord. I accept Your peace, love, and understanding. Help me to turn to You and not to myself. Help me to stop doing and start trusting. Help me to wait on Your answers, because I know that they are good. Give me wisdom, hope, and peace. Thank you, Lord, for Your patience and grace. I love You, and I know You love me so much more than I could ever imagine.
