Prayer For Deliverance From Drug Addiction
God in heaven, I bring everyone that is weighed down with drugs and alcohol addiction before your throne of grace. Free them from addiction and give them the strength to handle the pressures that cause them to fall back into alcoholism and drug abuse. Help them to know that you have forgiven their past, present, and future sins and that they are no longer under condemnation. In Jesus' holy name, I pray. Amen.
Dear Jesus, even though you came to set the captives free, some people are still living in captivity because the god of this world has blinded them from the truth. Today I pray for drug and alcohol addicts. Lord, set them free from captivity and help them to find true freedom in Jesus. Surround them with your shield of love so that they may continue walking in freedom. In Jesus' name, I believe and pray. Amen.
Lord, people are losing their lives each day because of addiction. Have Mercy on them, dear God and help them to know their true worth. Deliver them from drugs and alcohol and help them to know the truth that is found in the gospel. Help them to know your son Jesus as their Lord and Savior so that they can be clocked in righteousness and be free from the lies of the enemy. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
Father, I bless your name today. Thank you for predestining to adopt us as your sons by Jesus Christ. I bring drug addicts and alcoholics into your hands. Help them know that you have delivered them from the power of darkness and transferred them into the kingdom of your son Jesus. Convict their hearts that they may accept this as the truth and start living in freedom. I thank you and honor you highly for there is nothing too difficult for you to do. In Jesus' name, I pray. Dear Lord, have compassion on me and help me to overcome alcohol and drug addiction. Set me free from the curse of alcohol and drug addiction that runs through my family line. Look down with compassion for I am ashamed and lost. Free me from the compulsion to use drugs and alcohol. Fill that void with a desire to make a difference in the lives of those that are addicts. Lord, I trust in your mighty power, and I know that you are fighting on my behalf. May my freedom from addiction be a testimony among my friends and family. In Jesus' holy name, I believe and pray. Almighty God, arise and let the spirit of alcoholism and drug addiction be scattered. Let all those that are struggling with addiction be delivered. Open their hearts to the truth and break the influence of the enemy over their lives. Let the resurrection power that raised Jesus from the dead bring healing unto their dead organs that have been affected by alcohol and drugs. Let your grace be upon them that they may go through the recovery process without falling back to their old ways. Grant them wisdom so that they can choose the right friends who will help them become clean and useful people in your kingdom. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
Heavenly Father, your word says that blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly nor stands in the path of sinners. Lord, my son, has become friends with wicked people, and this has led him to become an addict of drugs and alcohol. He has strayed from the path that you have laid out for him and is walking in their evil ways. Father, remove all friends who introduced him to alcoholism and drugs from his life. Connect him with divine helpers that will influence him the right way and help him to become clean. Quench the evil desire of drugs and alcohol from his heart with the blood of Jesus and help him to experience total freedom. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
Dear Lord, I thank You that You care for people like me who have gone so far astray from the way of truth. Thank You, that You have never given up on me despite my addiction to drugs. Thank You, that I can come to You to seek for deliverance and know that You will not turn me away. Thank You, that Your mercies are new every morning and thank You, that You are faithful and true to Your Word, even when we prove faithless.
Lord, I know that Your Word promises a way of deliverance to all who seek You and I believe that in Jesus is found healing and wholeness, salvation and security, deliverance and joy. And Lord, I ask for You to deliver me from these drugs and free me from being in bondage to this cursed addiction.
Help me I pray. Save me Lord and set me free from these drugs on which I have become so dependant. Give me the means to break loose from drugs and the ability to see it through to the end. I know that on my own I will fail but Lord, I do believe that in Christ I can be set free. Help me Lord in Jesus' name,
