Prayer For Dad From Daughter
Righteous God, I proclaim that my father shall put on the full armor of You so that he can make a stand against the devil's schemes. For the struggle is not against flesh and blood, against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. I declare that my father shall be equipped to stand his ground because he shall be covered in the full armor of You, Amen.
God of Wisdom, I thank You for the life of my earthly father because he taught me so many good things that have equipped me to survive in this life. Your word says that a father deals with his own children by encouraging, comforting and urging them to live lives worthy of God, who calls us to His kingdom and glory. Lord, I thank You for blessing me with a father who has kept Your word and has positively impacted my life, Amen.
God of Strength, I pray that my father remains on the path of integrity so that he may walk securely, because whoever takes crooked paths will be found out. I pray that my father never finds his way on a crooked path. Instead, keep him and direct him on the path of righteousness. Lord, it isn't easy to remain honest and pure in such a corrupt world, but I thank You in advance for my father who remains true to You and Your word, Amen.
Divine Father, I can sense that my father lacks strength right now so please uplift his spirit! I proclaim that You are his refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore, he will not fear, because Your name is a strong tower; in You, he can find rest and be safe. Lord, please keep my father under Your loving eye so that he will no longer grieve but will have joy in You, his strength, Amen.
Dear Heavenly Father, I lift my children's father to You. Make him a man worthy of his high calling of fatherhood. Gently lead him in the ways of integrity and righteousness so that his children may see him as an example worth following. Do not let him exasperate his children; instead remind him often that they are looking to him for guidance and instruction.
Where any harm has been done or any rift has occurred in any relationship with his children, Father give him the courage and humility to reconcile and build up that relationship. Let him not see his children as a hindrance to his plans or his days. Rather, let him see them as blessings and treasures given to him on loan.
Father, I pray my children will be left with a rich spiritual inheritance by the man they call Dad. Help him be perceptive in his observances of what You require, then may he have the courage to carry out Your call upon his life. May he walk in Your ways and keep Your decrees and commands so that he may prosper in all he does and wherever he goes (1 Kings 2:2-3), giving glory to You for all his children to see.
Teach him how to deal with his own children in the ways You deal with him gently and lovingly, never in an exasperating manner. Give him patience and wisdom as he guides his children with all encouragement and comfort, urging them to live lives worthy of Your kingdom and Your glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Father, thank you for my family. You have blessed me so much, entrusting me to care for my children. Help me to be the father you have called me to be. Give me the strength to teach my daughter how to be the woman you have called her to be. Give me the courage to say the things she needs to hear, even if they are not the things she wants to hear. Give me wisdom to know what to say, and give her a tender heart to be receptive to her parents' guidance. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Dear Father God, my heart is so sad for my father and I am very concerned about the way that he has become such a heavy drinker. I know that he has had a very difficult life and that he is using his drinking habit to cover up a heart that has been bruised and badly scarred, but Father, his alcoholism is causing him so much harm and hurt, and I grieve for the life that he is forging out for himself.
Dear Lord, would You help him to become free of this terrible addiction to drink, and show us what we can do to help and encourage him to become free from this curse that is not only ruining his own life, but which has such negative repercussion in our home as well.
Lord, I love my father, but we are becoming desperate and are turning to You to help us to help him to break his addiction to alcohol.
Most loving Father, I am so sad about my father's life. I suppose I will never know all that happened to him along the way and I can never even imagine what inner pain his drinking is covering up, but it hurts so much to see him trapped in this pattern. And, as frustrated as we are, we will all enable him somehow. Please help us all be healed. Help us to take the steps we need. Help my father come to see his powerlessness before this addiction. Let him turn to You alone for help.

I pray that my dad gets better from all the pain he is in I pray he will emotionally get better and be happy again. He has not been himself in awhile due to stress and injurys.
I love my dad with all my heart and pray he can be pain and worry free cause I need my dad and would be lost without him.
Please lord give him the strenth to get better. I love you jesus lord. I pray.
