Prayer For Christmas Party Opening
Dear Lord,
Christmas is a wonderful season of celebrating the birth of Jesus.
Thank you for this time when we can joyfully celebrate Christmas together with old friends and new friends.*
I pray that you would bless each one here with a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Amen
Dear Jesus,
I think everyone here can agree that we need you more now than we ever have. This year has been- stunning to say the least. You know, Lord. Our family has faced some of the toughest times we have ever faced, but I know that you've been there with us. I know you have carried us through the hardest parts, Lord.
I don't know what your plan is, but I do know that you're faithful Lord. You said in Your Word that you would give unto them beauty for ashes. Today, in this prayer, I lay before you all of our grief, our heartbreak and our ashes, Lord. I ask that you take them all away and bestow upon us the most beautiful and blessed year ahead.
In Your Word, you said you heal the brokenhearted and bind up our wounds. Here, before you Lord, stands a brokenhearted person, but I stand strong in the shadow of your wings. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Lord, this year has been difficult. To that, I think we can all agree. But this Christmas party is a celebration of the blessings to come. This Christmas party is a celebration of the comfort you afford us. This gathering is a demonstration that no matter what the enemy throws at this family, we will gather together, support each other and praise Your name! We praise the name Jesus! Amen.

Lord, your blessings have been abundant and apparent. You've made our cups runneth over. There is no prayer I could pray that would be eloquent enough to repay you for the blessings you have showered upon us.
I thank you for each and every person here, and for the blessing of their presence. I pray thanks over the blessings in their lives, and fruits we've reaped as a result of Your undeserved grace, mercy and goodness.
Lord, it is by Your hands that we are saved, and it is by Your hands that goodness happens in our lives. We know that we could never do anything that warrants the kind of abundance and grace you have afforded us, so all I can do is humbly thank you.
I pray that no credit is given to me for any blessings you have channeled through me. I pray that all who have benefited at my hands, realize that it is all from God. Without God, my hands would be empty vessels begging to be filled.
It is only by the grace of God that we stand here today in abundance, in joy and in a warm dwelling. May God continue to light up our lives and hearts in such a way that it is irrefutably God's generosity. Let us never confuse coincidence and God's favor.
Lord, I thank you once again and pray that everything we do, be to the glory of Your Kingdom. Amen.
Thank you, Jesus! I'm not a person of many words, but you know my heart Lord. Thank you for my family, my friends, and your blessings. I pray for each and every person here Lord. Thank you, Jesus. Amen.
Dear Lord,
I'm not a perfect person and forgive me if I can't get the words exactly the way I want them to sound. Thanks for my family and the food on our table. Thanks for laughter and friendship and the opportunities you've given me.
I'm sure there are about a million other things that I'm forgetting to thank you for, but just know that I'm thankful. I pray we have a great day today, I pray that I didn't burn the food and I pray the neighbors forgive me for using their lawn like a parking lot. Thank you, Lord. Amen!
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before you today humbly to thank you, thank you for your blessings and keeping your promises. I thank you not only for the wonderful times, but also for helping us through the hard times. I thank you for your grace, your mercy and the undeserved favor you have shown me throughout this last year.
Lord, I pray for continued blessings in the year to come. I pray for healing where healing is needed, comfort where comfort is needed and provision where provision is needed. I ask that this Christmas party honor you and celebrate Your birth more than it celebrates our own accomplishments, because we know that no accomplishments are possible without your blessing.
It is not by my own power, but by your mercy and grace that I stand here today praying before the family that I love so much. It is with a grateful heart that I pray these words. May your kingdom reign forever. In your name we pray, Amen.
We thank you Lord, for allowing us to come together for this Christmas Party.
We acknowledge your blessings and your all-abounding love.
Grant that as we enjoy this occasion, we can also share your words of love through our actions.
Bless the hands that have prepared this food. May they prepare more healthy and nourishing food for your people. May they be blessed with your peace and love.
Bless the organizers of this party that they may also thrive in your peace and love.
Bless all who are present here today and all families back home that we may experience the true meaning of Christmas.
That Christmas is your birthday and as thus, we should celebrate it with you.
May we learn to give more than to receive, just as you did in your manger in Bethlehem.
You have gifted us with your generous blessings and love in spite of our shortcomings.
May you continue to guide us in your future endeavors.
May your love and peace be known to the world through our actions.
All these we ask in your powerful name, amen.
