Prayer For Chemistry Class
chemistry is my shepherd
i shall nt want it make me lie down the first 20 elements
it lead me besides the atomic theory
he restore my brain
he lead me in path of chemical equation
for balance sake
even tho i walk through the valley of law
i fear it no more
for Charles law is with me
boyle's law comfort me
even if thou prepared a periodicity in my presence i fear it not for my head as been anointed with periodic table and with it my brain as runneth over
surely oxidation and reduction shall follow me all the time am in chemistry class
and i shall deal ny electronegative elements forever and ever amen
my people i love reciting this chemistry psalm ny time am in chemistry class
Thank you God for all the things you've made our world to be.
For every single living plant, insect, bird and tree.
Thank you God for all the people you have placed around us.
For every single parent, friend and teacher that we trust.
Thank you Lord for all the gifts you send to us each day.
For every single meal and snack, for cuddles, toys and play.
Thank you God for caring for us, we know you always see,
Our every need, our worries, cares, our laughter, joys and tears.
Thank you Lord that you're our friend, you delight in all we do,
Especially when you hear our prayers, and we give thanks to you.
Amen.
Father of Light and Wisdom,
thank you for giving me
a mind that can know
and a heart that can love.
Help me to keep learning every day of my life--
no matter what the subject may be.
Let me be convinced that all knowledge leads to you
and let me know how to find you and love you
in all the things you have made.
Encourage me when the studies are difficult
and when I am tempted to give up
Enlighten me when my brain is slow
and help me to grasp the truth held out to me.
Grant me the grace to put my knowledge to use
in building the kingdom of God on earth
so that I may enter the kingdom of God in heaven.
Amen.
Lord, I know you are with me and love me.
Give me peace of mind as I prepare for this time of study.
Help me to focus on my books and notes,
keep me from all distractions so that I will make the best use
of this time that is available to me.
Give me insight that I might understand what I am studying,
and help me to remember it when the time comes.
Above all, I thank you for the ability to be able to study
and for the many gifts and talents you have given me.
Help me always to use them in such a way
Lord God,
Thank you for this opportunity to learn new skills and stretch my understanding.
Thank you for guiding me through this time of study into the final exams.
I lay before you all the hopes and fears I have about the outcome.
May you place a peace within me now as I rest and await the results.
Thank you that I am safely held in your love.
Thank you that whatever happens in the future I will live in your goodness and walk with you always.
Father in heaven, the start of every school year brings with it a mix of emotions. With so many changes that can be both overwhelmingly joyful and unbearably sorrowful, we pray that you would be found to be the unchanging God who remains constant in a world of ever changing variables.
Lord, as our students enter their schools may they know that you are already there and that you have gone before them. If they go to chemistry class, behold you are there. As they ride the school bus, you are also there. When they enter the locker room, indeed you are there.
But may they not simply be aware of your presence in their lives. May they also see your glory and your hand at work in the subjects that they study. May they see your beauty in their art classes. May they see the glory of your creation in biology. May they see your providential hand in world history. May they see your creative brilliance in mathematics.
And in all of this, may they see your great love as they grow in the knowledge of you and your world.
We have not just been saved from something, we have been saved for something.

We pray that this year would be a year of relational, intellectual, moral, cultural, and spiritual renewal for our students and for those that they come in contact with. May they come to see the beauty and truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ that tells of the good news that we have not just been saved from something, but that we have been saved for something. May they live as your sent ones in the world as they display your goodness, proclaim your truth, and live out your mission.
Oh Lord, may this year be used by you to equip our students to more faithfully and fruitfully love and serve others for the common good of all and to the glory of your name.
We pray this in the name of Christ and for his glory.

Lord heavenly Father,
I pray to you that you open my mind and help me to retain the knowledge that I have learned throughout this course and be able to replicate that knowledge on tomorrows exam. Please give me the grace and confidence to pass this exam, that you have so kindly given me in my other classes.
Lord, please remove all of my fear, doubts, and anxieties about this subject; allow me to accept your will how ever it is you see fit.
