Prayer For Being Born Again
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank you for dying on the cross for my sin. Please forgive me. Come into my life. I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Now, help me to live for you the rest of this life.
In the name of Jesus, I pray.

Dear Lord,
I admit that I am a sinner. I have done many things that don't please you. I have lived my life for myself only. I am sorry, and I repent. I ask you to forgive me.
I believe that you died on the cross for me, to save me. You did what I could not do for myself. I come to you now and ask you to take control of my life; I give it to you. From this day forward, help me to live every day for you and in a way that pleases you.
I love you, Lord, and I thank you that I will spend all eternity with you.

Dear Jesus,
You know everything about my past and You know my heart today. I admit I am a sinner (Romans 3:23) and I deserve hell (Romans 6:23).
Today, I fully and forever surrender and submit to You God and to the truth of Your Word, the Bible (John 1:1). I believe that You, Jesus are the only Son of God (John 3:16) and You love me (Romans 8:39).
Thank You, Jesus for dying on the cross for me, paying the price for my sins, my eternal death and suffering (Revelation 21:8). I won't go to hell because of what only You have done. I owe my life to You, Jesus. Today, I give it. I confess You to be my LORD (Romans 10:9).
I reject my selfish will. I repent and turn from my sinful ways (Matthew 4:17). I renounce false religion and all other lies from Satan (2 Cor. 10:5).
Thank you that I only need You, Jesus (John 14:6). You alone are holy (Revelation 15:4). You alone were sinless (Luke 1:46). Thank You that I am fully forgiven of all my sins, all past and all future, forever.
Thank You that I don't have to work for my salvation (Romans 3:28). It's Your gift to me, only offered by Your grace and only received by my faith (Ephesians 2:8-9). There is nothing I can or must do to earn it.
Thank You that I don't need to follow a religion, only You. Thank You that Your Word promises me my eternal life in heaven (John 10:28), not religious rituals, church traditions or man's wisdom (Matthew 15:3). Now, I can live every day finally free from all doubt (1 John 5:13).
Thank You Jesus, for rising from the dead to give me life (John 14:6). Come into my heart by Your Holy Spirit to lead and live in me. Thank You Father that right now, I am born again (John 3:3), as a fresh, new child of God (2 Corinthians 5:17), forever set free by Your truth (John 8:32).
Thank You for my freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17) from bondages to guilt, fear, worry, anger, shame, religion, opinions (1 Corinthians 2:15) and more. Thank You for Your priceless gifts (Galatians 5:22-23), especially peace.
Thank You, Jesus for being my Savior and my living, loving LORD.

Lord Jesus, I want to know you personally. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life to you and ask you to come in as my Savior and Lord. Take control of my life. Thank you for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Make me the kind of person you want me to be.
