Prayer For A Relationship To Be Restored
Generous Father, thank you that you know me and you love me. You know the difficulties and pressures in my relationship. You have said that, to those who ask, it will be given, to those who seek, it will be found and to those who knock, the door will be opened. hear my prayer as I ask you to move in power in my relationship. You love me and will always do what is best for me. Healthy relationships are possible because of your love and grace. Let me trust in you. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Lord, my Rock and Redeemer, thank you that you are gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love. Please protect me from bitterness in a difficult relationship. May your grace bring restoration. Please protect me from anger and fill me with your love and compassion. Let me be a vessel filled to overflowing with your love. May you, the God of all grace, who has called me into eternal glory by Christ Jesus, make me holy, strong and filled with peace. To you be glory and honor forever and ever. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Heavenly Father, thank you that there is nowhere I can go that is beyond your presence. Fill my relationship with the peace that comes from your presence. Your word says that my faith will never be put to shame when my trust is in you. Give me faith in your power to restore any relationship. Please help me to trust in you with all my heart. You are the Sovereign King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light. To you be honor and eternal glory. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Lord, my relationship has become difficult. There is fighting and unease. There's tension and resentment. I feel that I have nowhere to turn.
Please let there be peace between my partner and I. Grant us the kind of peace that only you can give, Lord, and help us to feel at ease with one another. Drain away any resentment, anger, or tension that has built up between us. Help us to seek compromise rather than struggling with one another in order to win.
Please bless our home to be a place of peace and restfulness, as it should be.

Heavenly Father, I profess that I do not understand my partner's needs. I don't know how to fix our problems.
Please open my eyes to my partner so that I can see why he or she acts the way they do. And please help me to understand, too, my own motivations and needs so that I can know when I am in the wrong.
Lord, grant us both a greater understanding of one another, and take away the preconceived notions and assumptions that are keeping us from truly communicating. Bring my partner and I closer together, and closer to you, than ever before.
In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
Compassionate Father, thank you that you know my every need. You have promised that when I pass through the waters, you will be with me, the rivers will not sweep over me, the fire will not burn me. Bring peace to the conflict in my relationship. Bring kindness to the harsh words. Bring compassion to the hardness of heart. Transform my relationship and make it fruitful and life-giving. Hear my prayer, today Lord. May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in your sight. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
Lord, what a mess we have both caused in our relationship and though we are both to blame in one way or another, between us we have walked away from a special relationship that we both felt was brought about by Your grace.
Please Lord, visit my boyfriend and me. We are both miserable and we both are smarting from some of the unkind things that we said to each other. We have both acted childishly and unwisely and we need to face this difficulty soon, if we are ever going to be reconciled.
Lord, we both need to be forgiven and I certainly repent of my part in our break-up. I ask Your forgiveness and pray that You will teach me how to live in a manner that is pleasing to You and not to gratify my own desires.
Lord, whatever happens, in Your strength I pray that I will not play emotional blackmail' with another person. Keep me for childish stupidity and I pray that in Your grace You would bring us both to a point where we can be reconciled back to each other, having learned by our mistakes. Thank You Lord Jesus,

Loving Father, thank you that your word is powerful and effective, living and active. You have promised that I do not need to be anxious about anything, but in every situation, I should present my requests to God. I lift up my relationship before you today Lord and ask you to bring restoration and healing. Replace my fear with faith in you. May your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
