Prayer For A Loved One In The Hospital
Dear Heavenly Father, We pray that you lift our worries from our minds, and place in our hearts the enormity of your love. We ask that you give courage, strength and hope to those who are sick, and to their families and friends. Please bless the hands and hearts of all those who work in this hospital. Amen
O Lord,
My grandpa has been one of the biggest influences of my life here. He read me stories about Jesus when I was very little. I have so many fond memories of him and he has been a solid example of Jesus to me. Lord, he is not doing well and I am fighting back the tears daily. Lord, I'm not ready for grandpa to leave for heaven. Father, if it is Your will, I pray that you would heal him. Father, You know what is best and I am at Your humble mercies. Please, if at all possible, heal my grandpa and allow us one more Christmas with him. I love You and I need You! Amen

I am in utter darkness right now. Lord, the doctors don't know what is wrong with me. I am scared. Lord, I love my husband and children. I am not ready to leave yet. I want to see many more joyous Christmases with them as we celebrate Jesus' birth together. Father, please show the doctors where to look and what tests to give me. Lord, I want so badly to hold my children right now and I can't! Please, heal this disease that has plagued me. Father, I miss being in my home with my family. I am thankful for the hospital staff with me and I pray that Your will be done in this. I love You, Lord! Amen

My heart goes out to all of the people in poverty stricken countries. Lord, countless numbers of men, women, and children die for lack of food and water. They are plagued with diseases and are in utter anguish daily. Father, I don't know what I can do for them, but if there is something please show me! Lord, my heart breaks for those that need the bare necessities of life. Father, please be with those in need in those countries. Heal the sick there and help them find food. Lord, do You want me to take a missions trip? If so, I will because I know You will be with me. Lord, be with the poor and powerless and bring them out of the sickness they are in. I love You! Amen

Only You know what is going on right now, Lord, and I pray that my friend may be healed of whatever is going on. Lord, I pray that this will be the only seizure he will have. Father, be with his wife and children. I know they are scared right now. Give them peace through this, Lord. You are the Great Physician, and I know Your hand is in this. I love You! Amen

My baby boy is only 2. He has been diagnosed with cancer. Father, I don't know how to handle this and this is more than I can handle. Father, I don't want to live here without my son! Please, heal him! Lord, give the medical staff the wisdom to pinpoint the exact places to eradicate this disease from his body. Please, Lord, don't let the cancer spread! Please, heal him! I am in a pit of despair and anguish over this. Lord, I need You now more than ever. I love You! Amen
